Chapter 5

I wore my typical outfit for the meteor shower event. Oversized sweatshirt and not so ripped jeans. I went to the mirror to check myself out. "Checking yourself out, I see." Hyunjin and Lia barged in my room. "I have to look good." Lia chuckled and patted my shoulder. "To impress Shin Ryujin?" I slapped her hand away and the two made funny and kissy noises. "Whatever. I just wanted to look good."

"I'm so excited." I squealed. I can't hide my excitement anymore, I'll be watching my favorite band live. "Chill Yeji. You need more energy to cheer on Ryujin." Yuna chuckled while scrolling through her phone. "Is Brayden coming too?" Yuna automatically lift up her head upon hearing his name. "Yeah! We will watch the meteors together."

"Hey girls! How's your night?" Bumjoon smiles as he gave Lia a high five. "We are excited for your performance. Goodluck!" They giggled while Iook around for a certain person. I haven't seen her since we got here. "Looking for someone, Yeji?" Bumjoon raised his eyebrow and smirked. "She's looking for Ryujin." Yuna chuckled. They really like to expose me, it's becoming their hobby. "Well yeah. Have you seen her?"

"She's backstage with Chaeryeong. Probably looking out for other girls, you better stop her if you don't want rivalry." He joked. I rolled my eye before finding my way to the backstage. I saw Ryujin and Chaeryeong bickering for the last donut piece. This is so far for checking out girls. "Hey guys." I approached. The duo flinched and laughed. "What's up Yeji. You went all the way here to see Ryujin? Impressive."

Chaeryeong giggled. I saw confusion in Ryujin's face, "I won't interrupt! I leave you guys alone." She winked at me before leaving. I can't believe that my crush is dense as fuck.

"So I wanted to give this." I took out the necklace I customized, it has her initials. "You are giving this to me?" She smiled brighty while accepting the gift.

"I got that ever since your band's debut." I think I blushed because I can feel heat at my face, I might look like a tomato right now.

"Thanks! I'll always wear this on my performances. Can you put this on my neck now?" I took the necklace as she turns around. "It's so pretty on me."

"Goodluck on stage! I'll cheer for you in the crowd." We fist bombed before I leave the backstage. I went back to Yuna and Lia but they are occupied with Bumjoon and Brayden.

"Now I'm fifth wheeling." They chuckled and teased me. "Where is Ryujin when you need her." Yuna teased and I rolled my eye.

"I just talked to her backstage." Lia smiled and placed her arms around me. "Did you give her the necklace?" She wiggled her eyebrows and they all giggle.

"She likes it." I can't stop smiling. I want to smile like this with Ryujin, Hopefully, I wish I could watch the meteor shower with Ryujin.

"Yeji!" I turned around and see Ryujin running towards me. "Be careful! Why are you running?" She wrapped her arm around my neck and ruffled my hair.

"Did you like the performance?" Hell yeah! She slayed the high notes. I never knew Bad Romance would fit rock.

"You slayed Ryujin. I loved it." She gave me the brightest smile that I could never see anywhere, not even the stars. "Thanks! I saw you cheering though. How's your throat?" She laughed.

"I might lose my voice tomorrow." We went to find our friends but it is too crowded that we got lost. "It's fun being lost too. At least I have you." I don't know if she is flirting or what but that really made my heart pound.

"Stop saying those things, Shin." I looked away, for sure I'm blushing. "Why? Is your heart fluttering?" She giggled and we stopped at a small cliff.
