Chapter 23

Euki waves her hands up high so that the latter can see where she is. She looks around for a girl wearing a black cap and baggy clothes.

"There you are." Ryujin smiled.

"Sorry to bother and I know you're leaving for tour in an hour but Yeji couldn't pick me up she suggested that I call you." The girl shyly said.

"Dude, it's fine. Plus, I owe you an apology for forgetting about you. I was bummed when you left." Ryujin says crunching her nose and smiling cutely.

"I was hurt that you didn't even recognize me back at the competition but It was cool."

"Are you still with your band?" Ryujin helped her carry some bags and started walking to the car.

"Unfortunately, we have to disband. Our agency went bankcrupt from our boss' gambling and shit." Disappointment can be seen in her eyes but still kept a small smile.

"That sucks. You guys were great." They got inside the car.

"How's your band? I bet ya'll so happy to finally go on tour. Congrats!" She chuckled at she wore her seatbelt.

"You want to come with us?" She furrowed her brows at me, wearing a confused look.

"Why would you take me on tour with you?"

"Dude, I'm making up to you!" We chuckled.

"Sure!"

"Yeji this is the Kim family. They will be here for dinner today so behave and be nice." Father calmy as the Kims smiled. I bowed politely and smiled at them.

"What a nice lady you raised here, Hwang. I bet you're so proud." Father replied with a small smile.

"She is a top student since grade school, Perfect A+ on every subject. I am very proud." He pat my back.

"I am impressed." Ms. Kim chuckled. "My son is at the same age as you are, Yeji. I bet you'll get along well."

"Darling, Where is Ethan, By the way?" Mr. Kim asked her wife.

"He is on his way. You know him, he is very busy with his work. I'm so sorry Mr. Hwang, I am so embarr-"

"It's okay" Father interrupted. "It's great to know that he is hardworking."

"The food is not yet ready, How about let's chit chat at the living room?" Mother smiled sweetly as she approach us from the kitchen.

They walk towards the living room and I went straight to the mansion's dance studio where Hyunjin would always hang out.

"Hyunjin." He stopped dancing and wipes his forehead.

"The family you told me about is at the living room. I met them."

"Why would our parents be associated with them. Plus their son is a jerk." He rolled his eyes.

"They said their son will be here soon." He grabbed both of my shoulders and sighed.

"I learned about something last night that I didn't tell you." I grew nervous. What if they're planning to kill me?

"Hey my shoulder hurts!" I broke free from him and looked at him attentively. "Just spill it."

"I was strolling around the garden when I heard mother and father talking to someone at the phone so I hid behind some tree." I sighed and sat down by the mirror.

"It was easy for me to know who and what ther conversation is about because they called him Ethan Kim. I knew they are up to something so I hid." I sat down next to him despite him being sweaty.
