Chapter 31

I looked around to see myself being tied up in a big cold pillar. I tried to let myself free but the rope is too tight. I yelled for help. I felt dizziness and held my temples.

"Blood?" I gasp. My forehead is bleeding. I held my bruise and wobbled around, hoping I could loosen the ropes. My breathing worsens and I felt my heart pounding.

Mari was the one I was with before this. Where is she?

"Mari?!" I yelled, it only echoed. There's only a single bulb above me. then everything is now a bit dark, like at a big warehouse.

"Mari, Where are you? Are you okay?!" I yelled again. "Help!!" I'm anxious and scared, for the first time being kidnapped. I'm fearing for my life for the first time.

I looked around for a sharp object and saw a broken mirror but It's to far away that my foot can't even reach. I heard foot steps coming closer to me.

"Let me out!" I yelled. I heard the person sighed.

The person steps closer and finally revealed his face.

"Koosung?!" My voice cracked. I can't believe he would tie me up here.

"Let me out! Where is Mari?! Where did you take my sister?!" I yelled furiously at him. I felt betrayed and my anger is rising so fast.

"I sorry, Ryuryu." Mari suddenly appeared with other group of men that dressed up like gangsters. She looked away, feeling guilty of what they have done.

"Mari? What the hell is happening?" I groan.

"I'm sorry! We did this to protect you!" She cried.

"Untie me now." I growled. I felt my hands begins to shake. I'm furious and I would like to stay like this.

"Ryujin, I can explain." He took his phone out and played a recording.

"Ethan is planning on sabotaging you and your career exactly today."

"What is it today?"

"It's Yeji's wedding today."

"You look so grown up." Mother cried while arranging my jewelry.

I looked myself at the mirror, wearing a big white gown and a small tiara. I look beautiful, like a princess.

"I'm sorry that you still have to continue this." She sighed, wiping her tears. I softly smiled.

"I'm running away. I can't get married with him. I have to find Ryujin and Hyunjin and save them. They sacrificed a lot for me and now I have to return back the favor."

"Hyunjin is not here yet. He's at the office, I told him to not leave his office but he insisted to come to your wedding." I facepalmed. Well atleast I know where he is.

"What is your plan?"

"I don't know how they will kill them. But for sure Hyunjin may be killed on the road. Since Ethan said before the wedding. Hyunjin will be probably on on the way before the wedding starts. But I'm not sure."

"How about Ryujin? We have no idea where she is. She was last found at Junior's but we didn't find any further updates about her."

"It will be hard to find her. She's became so secretive." I sighed. "But koosung might know."

"Jeon Koosung? They're friends?"

"There might be something going on between them. They might be together now." My heart ached.

"I'm so sorry, Yeji." She looked at me feeling guilty.

Suddenly there was a faint knock on the door.
