Suddenly (Bede x Reader)

(Y/n)'s return

(Y/n) flinches as Nessa applies some disinfectant to the cut on her arm. The exposition she went on left her with a frankly ridiculous amount of cuts and bruises. Though when dealing with legendaries it should be expected. In fact with how many she delt with this was the minimal damage.

She was currently in her underwear in the privacy of the changing room. This was because there were cuts on her back, sides, and thighs.

"You knew what you were going up against. You shouldn't have been so reckless." Melony comments shaking her head, as she helped to disinfect the various cuts lining (Y/n)'s skin

"Honestly, easier said than done. I'm a different person when I'm trying to achieve something. Especially something like that." (Y/n) says

"I believe it. This is you we're talking about." Nessa says

(Y/n) chuckles. After 10 minutes all off (Y/n)'s cuts were disinfected, and the worst among them were bandaged. (Y/n) then puts her clothes back on and leaves with Nessa and Melony. She explains the expedition to everyone further. Since there were obviously still questions. Her explanations reveals she spent days aways from 'the base' and didn't ever look at phone unless Rotom floated in front of her face.

"So it's you're fault!?" Bede snaps at the sentient phone floating beside (Y/n)

Rotom takes on a panicked expression.

"Don't place my blunder on Rotom, Bede. I've got to put a handle on my behavior when it comes to achieving certain goals." (Y/n) says

"I'd say so." Marnie comments

"At least you're admitting you messed up." Piers adds

"I mean, what else was I gonna do. Decline I did anything at all? But hey, I'm flattered you all care about me this much." (Y/n) says scratching the back of her neck

"News flash; likable person has friends." Raihan jokes

(Y/n) smiles with a little laugh. With that everyone left to headed back to their respective gyms. Well Bea quickly ran back and punched her in the shoulder before she left. It hurt but (Y/n) understood why she did it. She turns to Bede rubbing her shoulder. The male was looking her up and down, which causes her to blush. Upon noticing her blush causes him to blush.

"Your cuts and bruises, dingbat!" He says

"Oh!" She realizes and begins laughing

Bede shakes his head looking away. Meanwhile Opal smiles at her apprentice. She knew what was going on between these two, and where each of them stood in the situation. She lets a little chuckle out.

"So, what're going to do now that you cleared up your disappearing act?" He asks

"Well, I was hoping we could go out to the wild area. Since I heard Giant's cap and Hammerlocke hills are supposed to be sunny all day." She says

Bede couldn't help but smile at that. He'd like to think this invitation was the soul reason she came here. He looks to Opal ready to ask if his absences would be alright.

"Go ahead." The woman says knowing exactly what he was going to ask

"Thank you." He says and Opal nods

(Y/n) and Bede leave the gym. Bede was going to keep going but (Y/n) put her hand on his chest. He watches as she pulls out a pokeball, and releases the Pokémon inside. Bede's eyes go wide in awe.

"Bede, meet Articuno! Articuno this is Bede! We're really close!" (Y/n) introduces

Articuno looks at Bede and nods at him. And the platinum blond returns the gesture. (Y/n) hugs Bede from the side pressing their cheeks together. His face begins heating up.

"You remember Giant's cap, right?" She asks the legendary bird

Articuno nods.

"Can you teleport us there?" She inquires

The bird responds by wrapping them in it's large wings. Only a mere second later it unwraps them to reveal they were now exactly where they wanted to be. Giant's cap. (Y/n) lets go of Bede who looks around amazed by the situation. Even (Y/n), who asked for this, was in awe. Though very briefly for her.

"So, what do you wanna do? Relax in the sun? Take a little stroll? Have a batt-"

"Rapidash back ride." He cuts her off

(Y/n) smiles excitedly hearing that. But it soon disappeared.

"I don't know how." She says

"I figured you wouldn't. I also know you don't have a Rapidash. At least not yet. I bet Ponyta's getting close to evolving." He says

"Then, why Rapidash back ride?" She tilts her head

He smirks and releases his Rapidash. He pats the unique horn Pokémon's side. He raises his hoof and Bede steps up on it and sits on his back.

"Get on." Bede says

(Y/n) blanks out as she stared back at her friend.
