(Y/n)'s eyes dart around. Expecting a Pokémon to jump out and attack at any moment. Saying she's on guard is an understatement. A few minutes of walking and Bede turns off the light. (Y/n) lets out a gasp.

"What're you doing?" She asks panicked

"Relax. Look up ahead." He says with a little chuckle

Sure enough there was a light ahead. They progress towards it. The sound of running water could be heard, and the light grew brighter as they got closer. Once at the end she sees the source of the light. And it is glorious. A very large open area, the walls and ceiling coated in sparkling gems and crystals. Water flowing through from outside, making a water fall that fed into a small lake in the middle. On the opposite side of the area was another path. (Y/n)'s eyes sparkle almost as brightly as the various gem and crystals.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Bede asks admiring her awestruck expression

"Yeah." She says almost mindlessly

She walks forward still holding on to his hand. He smiles at her and simply goes along with her wondering. She observes everything with great interest and awe. Every now and then she utters a 'wow' or 'amazing'. At one point she lets go of his had and kneels down. She looks into the water, to see there were crystals down there as well. In attempt to get a closer look at the crystals below the surface she leans forward. Stopping when her nose was only centimeters away from the water. Bede laughs thoroughly amused by her actions. This causes her to look up at him confusedly.

"Are you always his adorably curious when you see something new?" He asks

"I dunno." She mumbles looking away

He giggles.

"Come on. There's more." He says

She gets up and follows him. They head down the other path. Which was quite short. It lead to another large but smaller area. This one was filled with gems of all colors. Creating a glorious display of bright and sparkling colors.

"Bede, when did you come down here? And why?" She asks him genuinely curious

"Not long ago. I was driven purely by curiosity. When I came down here I couldn't help but think of the day we had our first battle. And that's why I brought you here." He says

"That's.. um... Why exactly? I mean, when we had our first battle we didn't exactly like each other." She asks baffled by this

"Yes, but that's the day you officially came into my life. And, I'll never admit this publicly, but it's one of the best things that could've happened to me. Funny how things work out." He says letting out a little laugh

He walks forward and she watches him silently. He stops a few feet away. He stares at the gems watching as memories, only he could see, play out before him.

"That day lead to a lot happening for me. I found myself feeling both annoyed yet interested with you. I was always so rude to you and yet never uttered so much as a single mean-spirited word to me. You never rubbed your victories in my face. And when my endorsement was revoked, you showed me empathy. You could've mocked me, and yet you didn't."

He goes silent for a moment.

"It took longer than it should have for me to realize what I really felt for you. And I took an embarrassing couple days for me to simply accept what I was feeling. And finally I was able to see far past our rivalry. I was able to focus on you as a person."

He turns around, making eye contact with her.

"The chaotic, and stubborn, yet understanding and loveable person you are. I feel such a great sense of comfort and peace with you. Safe, as others may call it. I love you, (Y/n)."

He smiles calmly, his eyes half lidded and filled with emotion. She stares in astonishment, processing his every word. The realizations comes to her and a smile spreads across her face. She walks up to him. She wraps her arms around his waist and pulls him into a hug. He returns the gesture, wrapping his arms around her neck. They stay in the hug for a moment. He moves his hands to her shoulders, then down to her biceps. He pulls back a bit, holding her arms in place.

"If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to kiss you again." He says

"I don't know what's stopping you." She responds

They chuckle at each other, before they connect their lips. It was once again soft yet filled with emotion. It lasted for a few minutes before they pulled away. They gaze into each other's eyes. Silently adoring each other. Unfortunately the moment was interrupted by her phone flying out and ringing.

"Why you little..." He growls

"Son of a- Come here!" She snatchs the phone out of the air

The ringing stops as the call connects. A tick mark appears on her head.

"Hey (Y/n), where are you? I went to your house to ask you about something and couldn't find you." Sonia's voice comes through

"I..." (Y/n) trails off

She looks to the platinum blond who was simply waiting for this call to end. He was clearly just as annoyed that their moment was interrupted. She takes a deep breath.

"I'm on a date." She states

"What!?" Sonia shouts in shock

"Yes, I am in fact on a date. With someone I personally adore."

He smiles at her statement. Sonia was audibly stumbling for words.

"I'll answer your questions later. But right now my attention needs to be dedicated to my date. Bye now." She says and promptly ends the call

She stuffs the phone back in her pocket, and turns back to him.

"So, what now?" He asks

"I mean, wouldn't mind kissing just a little longer." She says scratching the back her head with a small smile

He laughs a little. He cups her cheeks with his hands as she wraps her arms around his waist again.
