Chapter 8: Rules

Did I heard it right? Kira Monteverde? I'm trying to convince myself that it's possibly the other Kira Monteverde but I saw Shaun looked at me with that smirk still on his face so it's legit me.

Napatingin naman ako sa mga estudyanteng nakakakilala sa akin.

'Diba siya yung babaeng kinalaban ang President kahapon?'

'Oo siya yon'

'Lagot siya. She will be experiencing hell'

I tsked. Experiencing hell? Ilang beses ko na yang napagdaanan. It's nothing surprising anymore.

Ibinalik ko ang tingin sa stage at nakitang wala na doon si Shaun at ang members nang Student Council. Tanging si Principal Victoria nalang ang naiwan doon.

"To Kira Monteverde, I heard you're a transferee. Please proceed to the Dean after school for more informations about being a Personal Assistant. That's all, dismissed" aniya at unti unti namang nagsilabasan ang mga estudyante.

Tumayo na din ako at nagsimula nang lumabas. So he wants me to be their Personal Assistant? Bring it on.

I didn't go to the cafeteria today because i'm not really that hungry yet. Dumiretso nalang akong naglakad papuntang dorm. Pagkapasok na pagkapasok ko ay may dalawang bagahe akong nakita.

Lumapit naman ako doon sa mga bagahe at tinignan ito. Yep. She's here.

Lumabas naman galing sa bathroom so Yugen habang pinupunasan ang kaniyang basang buhok. Nang makita ako ay kaagad siyang tumakbo papunta sa akin at niyakap ako. I hugged her back.

"Kei! I miss you so much!" anya habang nakayakap siya sa akin. I chuckled.

"I miss you too, Yugen. Kamusta ang flight?" tanong ko.

Sumimangot naman siya sa akin. "Ayun, jet lag na jet lag ako kaya I took a quick bath na muna" imporma niya.

"Magpahinga ka na muna. Btw, kumain ka na ba?" tanong ko. She nodded.

"Yep, nag lunch na ako bago pumunta dito. Ikaw?"

Umiling ako. "Not yet. Di pa ako gutom" sabi ko bago humiga sa kama ko.

"You should eat, Kei" aniya. Umiling ako at umayos nang upo bago siya tinignan.

"Nah, i'm not in the mood to eat since I'll be PA. I don't know but i'm bothered by it"

"PA? Like personal assistant?" tanong niya. Tumango ako.

"Yep. Nakapunta kaba sa Amphitheater kanina?" tanong ko. Umiling siya. Kaya naman pala.

"Well, Shaun Darshall chose me to be the Student Council's personal assistant. I hate him. I hate his smirk. It was like he's enjoying this. I don't think I will be a PA, Yugen. I think I will be a slave! And I accepted this mission because I will be a spy not a fucking slave!" aniya ko.

I really hate his guts. At sa harap pa talaga nang maraming tao niya iyon sinabi. Good thing people knew me as Kira Monteverde and not Keira Donquixote or else it would be a humiliation for me.

"Chill, Kei. This is a mission. Don't let your emotions control you. I know you hate the idea of having a low profile but just bear for it a little. And besides, you're Keira Donquixote. I know you can do it. If you think that he's playing with you then play with him too" aniya.

"I know, Yugen. That's why if he thinks that I will just cry here in the corner then he's totally wrong. Being a PA is a great advantage for me" I smirked.
