Nahmir's POV
I stared at Mia's mouth trying to make out what she was going to say but I couldn't, her face was unreadable and so was her body language
"Thank you" Mia said
"For what" I said still confused
"For telling me the truth, most guys don't do that so I appreciate it I really do" Mia said
I nodded my head as we parked in front of the studio
"You ready to go inside" I said once I cut the car off
"Yeah sure" Mia said
"Okay. Wait for me, I wanna open the door for you" I said
Mia nodded her head waiting for me as she took her seatbelt off I got out of my side closing the door and quickly jogged to her side helping her out of the car. Once I locked the car up we walked towards the building and walked right inside.
"Good afternoon Nahmir" Talia said
"Aye me and my girl going to the back to studio 7, can you buzz us through" I said
"Yeah" Talia said while rolling her eyes in the process
I know she likes me, I been knew that and we been hooked up but that was a long time ago and after that I told her that it was over it wasn't nothing too serious just a quick fuck really
Studio 7
Once Talia had finally buzzed us through we walked straight down the hall and to the right where studio 7 was
"Aye, what's up" I said once me and Mia walked into the studio
"What's up" Glizzy said dapping me up
"Y'all this is Mia. Mia that's Glizzy, Jay, Cordae, Kailah, Taylor and Laila" I said pointing all of them out
"What's up" Glizzy said to Mia
"Hey" Mia said
Mia's POV
"You can sit on the couch if you want" Nahmir said with his arm around my waist
I nodded my head sitting on the couch as Nahmir walked into the booth putting the headphones on while giving the producer a thumbs up
"Alright you ready to try the first verse" the producer said
Nahmir nodded his head as the producer played the track

"How was that" Nahmir said once the track was cut and he took the headphones off
"Great! How you feel about it" the producer said
"It's working" Nahmir said showing his braces
"Alright, well take 5 and we'll start the next couple of verses" the producer said
Nahmir nodded his head putting the headphones down and walking out of the booth walking towards me
"So. Did you like it" Nahmir said
"Well yeah your very talented. Something I could twerk too you know" I said

I nodded my head as we continued to talk

"Aight cool. I'm gonna finish shit up here and then we can go somewhere after, if you want too" Nahmir said

Nahmir smiled before going back into the booth, the guys had went to get food so it was just me and the girls pretty much
"Hey, I don't think we've formally met but I'm Taylor" the girl Taylor said as the other girls were standing with her
"I'm Mia" I said
"I'm Kailah" the girl Kailah said
"And I'm Laila but you can call me la la" the girl Laila said
"We should link up without the guys" Taylor said
"Ooooh I definitely agree with this one" Laila said
"Yeah totally" I said
I don't have that many female friends if I'm being honest
"Alright so I guess this is a good time to exchange numbers" Kailah said
"Put y'all numbers in my phone" I said handing Taylor my iPhone 11 Pro Max
After Taylor put her number in she passed my phone to Kailah and Laila so they could do the same
"Alright well me and Glizzy about to go. Im gonna make a group chat tonight" Laila said
I nodded my head saying bye to her along with Kailah & Taylor because they said they were leaving too. Once they all walked away Nahmir came and sat by me
"You ready to go" Nahmir said
"Yeah sure, can you swing by my job please Tasha said she wanted to speak to me about my schedule and stuff" I said putting my phone in my pocket
"Yeah imma grab my stuff and we can go" Nahmir said getting up
I stood up after him and walked to the door as I watched him grab his phone and stuff walking up to the door where I was at
"Alright, we can go" Nahmir said
Foot locker
"Alright I'm gonna wait out here in the car for you just come out when you done in there" Nahmir said as I got out of the car
Once I walked into foot locker Tasha was waiting near the cash registers for me
"Hey. You wanted to talk to me about my schedule" I said walking up to Tasha
"Oh yeah of course, so the manager position just opened up and you've done nothing but kick ass over the year and a half that you've been here so I think you deserve it" Tasha said handing me keys to the shop
