Mia's POV
2 1/2 months later...
So it's been 2 months going on three since the boys were kidnapped, I know Alycia has something to do with it I just can't prove it at the moment but I will eventually and when I do there's going to be hell to pay that's for sure
"Hello" I said answering my phone
"Yes. This is detective springs— officer Davidson forwarded your case to me and I'm calling to let you know that we have some new leads. If you would kindly come down to the station we can determine which leads are true and which ones are dead ends" detective springs said
"Alright I'll be there very soon" I said hanging up
"Who was that" Mikey said
"The detective, can you come with me I kinda don't wanna go alone" I said grabbing my purse
"Course I'll go with you. I'm here to support you at all times" Mikey said
"Alright. Thanks, it means a lot" I said
Los Angeles police department
"Hi. I'm here to speak with detective springs" I said
"Okay. You can head straight threw those double doors first room on your left" the receptionist said
"Thank you so much. I'll see you when I'm done" I said looking at Mikey
"Alright. I'll be here when you get back" Mikey said
I nodded walking towards the back until I reached the room where the detective was
"Hi. You called me here detective" I said taking a seat putting my purse down
"Yes. We've got a ton of new leads, I would just like for you to determine which ones are real and which ones are false leads" detective springs said
"Alright, that I can do" I said
"Great ! Okay so here's the first lead. Says there's a strange woman in the next town over saying she has the kids and she wants some type of ransom— Sandra Kelly, so you know her" detective springs said
"No. This seems false detective— Alycia Tyre has she been found yet. I believe she's the one that has my boys" I said
"No she hasn't but I promise we're doing everything we can to track her down" detective springs said
"And how do you guys do that" I said raising my eyebrows
"Well right now it appears that she's not in the Los Angeles area, and because she's not in the area it'll be a little harder to track her. Trust me I've put an apb out for her across all police departments, because she's not in Los Angeles anymore we can't just go out and arrest her— whatever state she's vanished off to has to arrest her for doing some type of crime there. Now do you have any evidence that proves she was there on the day in question" detective springs said
"Well I don't know if this is hers but I found this charm bracelet in my baby father's hallway near my sons room" I said pulling the bracelet out of my purse handing it the detective
"Alright. I'll send this over to the lab and get it tested if you find anything else let me know, there wasn't any blood at the scene which is a good thing— your boys are out there somewhere" detective springs said
I nodded my head as we talked about the other leads— Alycia was still in the back of my mind I know she has something to do with this if she didn't she wouldn't have took off and left Los Angeles, she has by babies and I'm gonna find them one way or another no matter how long it takes
Nahmir's POV
"Are you sure Nahmir, this isn't something to joke about those are your boys" my mom said sitting across from me
"I'm sure mom, I'm not joking. I was pissed off at Mia for keeping me away from my boys up until they were born. I was ranting to Alycia about the situation and how I wished the boys would just go away because I knew that it would eventually get out that I'm the father and I just couldn't face putting my career in jeopardy because I'm just getting started and I didn't want anything ruined. At first I didn't think Alycia was listening because she said I was crazy but that day when Mia had dropped them off Alycia was by the basement listening I told her to hide because Mia would flip if she saw Alycia and she would've immediately took the boys away. I had Alycia watch them for me while I went to the market that day and when I came back she was gone I had texted her asking where she'd went and she simply replied with 'it's done, they won't be a burden to your career anymore' I thought she was joking but when I went upstairs to check on the boys their room was a mess and them along with their diaper bags were gone. Mia of course called two days in a row to check on them and I didn't want her to worry so I told her they were fine and that they were taking a nap and that I would feed them later on when they woke up" I said
"Nicholas Alexander Simmons?! Are you fucking kidding me, you let that girl take my grand babies away all because you were mad at Mia you cheated on her Nicholas and put her through endless amounts of hell so what she didn't let you see them the first 9 months of her pregnancy but she let you sign those birth certificates and she was starting to let you see them more. How could you be so fucking careless and stupid Nahmir, now that girl has my grand babies and their probably halfway across the country and it's some stranger they don't know this is all your fault I hope you know that" my mom said
