Mia's POV
The next day...
Once Nahmir had dropped me off at school, I let him know what time I would be getting out which was 11:45am since the rest of the day would be me doing online school for a portion of the school year.
[1st period]
Once I made it to first period I took a seat in the first available seat which was in the middle of the room towards the back of the classroom
"Alright class I'm your teacher Mr.Navona and before we begin I'm gonna be giving you a slip of paper with your login information on it we'll be using zoom for the remainder of this school year after today. I'll also be passing around all of the upcoming assignments for this class, you all have my email of course and for those who don't it's J.Navona120@gmail.com" Mr.Navona said
Once I got my slip of paper and my packet of all the upcoming assignments I put the packet in my book bag and looked at the slip
Username: M.Bennett12!
Password: ******** (password she chose)
I folded the slip of paper up sliding it into one of the slot things in my wallet
Once the bell rang I grabbed all of stuff and headed to second period
Nahmir's POV
"I don't know why you acting all scary, she's at school ain't shit gonna happen. She ain't gonna find out nothing" I said talking to Alycia
"Trust me that's the least of my worries Nahmir, and besides I already know you want me whether your with her or not because I'm the one that you hit up late at night to come over not her" Alycia said
"Yeah I know babe" I said
"I don't wanna keep sneaking around anymore Nahmir, it's not fair to me I can't keep watching you being all booed up with her while I'm placed on the back burner until 12am or longer" Alycia said wiping a tear that rolled down her cheek
"I know babe, imma fix this I promise. We ain't gonna have to go through this anymore" I said
"I'm glad you understand Nahmir" Alycia said
"So what you wanna do until I have to pick her up from school at 11:45" I said double checking the time seeing that it was only 8:45am
"Well we could definitely fuck and cuddle until then" Alycia said grabbing my hand and leading me upstairs to her room
Mia's POV
3 and a half hours later...
I looked down at my phone seeing that it was going on 1 o'clock almost Nahmir was supposed to be here damn near two hours ago, I texted him one more time
Mia: hey, are you coming ?
Once I realized he wasn't texting back I started walking to the nearest bus stop until a blue Lamborghini pulled up on the side of me and stopped, I looked towards the car as the driver rolled down their windows revealing the person who just so happened to be Christian
"Hey Mia, what you doing out here" Christian asked
"Nothing, just going to the bus stop so I can go home" I said
"Where's your car" Christian said
"It's in the shop, the engine blew and some other stuff happened" I said
"Damn, you want me to give you a ride somewhere" Christian said
I looked down at my phone seeing that Nahmir still hasn't texted me back
"Uh yeah sure, can you drive me home if it's not too much to ask" I said
"No problem, hop in" Christian said
I walked to his car getting in the passenger side and letting him know where my address was so that he could drop me off. Once he pulled up in front of my house I grabbed my book bag from the back seat and got out.
"Thanks for the ride, I appreciate it you honestly didn't have to take me home" I said once I got to his side
"No problem, you got work later. I was thinking we could hang out somewhere you know— your choice" Christian said
"Uh, I'll text you later on or something and let you know what I'm thinking about doing. Is that cool" I said
"Yeah sure. See ya later, hopefully" Christian said backing up out of the drive way and heading down the road
Nahmir's POV
45 minutes later...
"What time is it?" I said looking at Alycia who had her robe on
"4:35" Alycia said looking at her phone
"Damn, damn, damn. I fucked up" I said grabbing my phone and putting my clothes on looking at my phone seeing that Mia had texted me
Mia🥰: hey, are you coming ? @1:00pm
"Fuck?!" I said grabbing my keys also
"What's wrong" Alycia said
"Listen, I gotta go. I'll call you tonight or something" I said rushing out of her house to my car
I said I was only gonna be here for an hour or two, but that turned into 6 hours. Damn Mia's gonna be fucking pissed off at me. Once I had made it to my car I pulled off and started driving but of course I called Mia, I needed to apologize.
"Hello" Mia said once the call had connected
"Hey, I'm sorry babe I completely lost track of time I didn't mean to forget about picking you up. I'm such a dick and you must hate me" I said while driving
"It's fine Nahmir. I got home safely" Mia said
"Oh word, I thought your car was in the shop" I said
"It is, I got a ride" Mia said
"From who?!" I said furrowing my eyebrows
"Christian. He offered to take me home" Mia said
"Who's Christian" I said
"He works at my job, I'm the one that interviewed him a few weeks ago and Tasha had hired him" Mia said
"Oh, well I'm glad you made it home babe. I was honestly worried and I won't forget next time" I said
