I got given a task from my piano teacher to find a tricky pice of sheet music to learn, and what accompanies a long session of piano playing than some iced tea! So, as I was walking home from my music centre, I took a little detour to the shops to purchase my goods. I needed some ingredients for a recipe I wanted to try from my cooking classes, ha, so it was like I was hitting two birds with one stone! So I quickly gathered the items on my list and went to the checkout.

However, as I was waiting in the line, a customer close to me caught my attention. I don't know what made me so drawn to her. Maybe it was her slightly turned up, sad eyebrows, or her tightly sealed mouth, but whatever it was, I was curious. So, after I checked out my items, I gaily walked up and lent up against a pillar not that far from the entrance and exit of the store and browsed my phone for a bit. Really, I was stalling for time. Ha. It's something I do often. I was just waiting for the lady to finishing purchasing her stuff, so I could inconspicuously follow her home. It's really not that difficult. Now it was three birds with one stone, haha!

I was so relived she walked to the supermarket! I would've had to try find her again if she had because I didn't drive my car that day. So, I just followed her, trying to make sure she didn't take notice of me or anything. I recognised the areas we were walking through. When we got closer to her residency, it became very obvious she didn't live in a house. I was wondering if she lived in the units of flats. It would be incredible if she lived in the flats, because I used to live there for a bit when my house was getting renovated. I was crashing at my friends apartment. Ha, and, god must of been watching over me just then, because she turned to the apartments and started fumbling with the keys to her flat's door!! I figured I had followed her enough, but something inside me told me continue my act.

I was praying my friend was home at that moment, as it would look very awkward and suspicious for me to go into the apartment complex and then just walk out! I just really wanted to see where she lived. Most of the people I investigated to the point of paying a visit it to the homes usually lived in houses, rather than a tall building filled with small flats. It was quite refreshing, if I'm gonna be completely honest. 'Coarse, you don't really care about whether someone lives in a house or flat, but I do. It becomes a key part to my plan. As you would assume, apartment buildings are presumably filled with people, so, if I were to kill someone in one, it would be much more difficult to look all nonchalant if you get what I mean. Sure, houses are in neighbourhoods, but, it's so much easier to get away with such spectacular acts when everything is as spread out as it is in your typical street. In flats, however, they are tightly packed, and filled to the brim with people. And although I get the advantage of having my friend live in the same complex, that doesn't mean the blood curdling screams will be any quieter when I decide to strike.

So, we both entered the building, and I tried to unsuspiciously follow her up the flights of stairs. Also, side note, who on earth walks up and down the stairs?? Is she mad? Maybes she's trying to get in some more exercise, I can't be sure. But what I can be sure about is the fact that my knees KILLED after walking up all theses stairs, haha! Anyways, so aside from the physical pain I was enduring, I also had to battle the constant stress of her asking me why I've been following her. It was making my heart pound so fast I could here it. Usually when someone lives in an apartment I just cross them of my list, but I had gone too far in now!

Anyways, so we keep walking and walking. Eventually, we stop, and she turns the corner. Could I be imagining this? This is too crazy to be real! I quietly laughed to my self. Why? I hear you ask. Well, I had just won the lottery of most ideal place for a possible choice to live. She was two doors down from my friend's flat.
Absolute. Win.
