"Hey, wanna play together?" Ashton devon's first words to Elle."Sure," Elle said. Ever since that day they were inseparable. They were 12 years old when Ashton confessed his feelings to Elle, Elle blushed and told him that she was feeling the same way.
Until after 7 years of being friends, Ashton's parents passed away in a car accident and he was forced to live with his auntie's house 10,000 miles away from his home town. When Elle found out about this, she bursted into tears. Before Ashton left he promised that he will comeback and marry Elle.
9 years later
Years have past, Elle graduated and is currently working at a local coffee shop in their hometown.
Elle has a boyfriend now, his name is Kevin. he was a football player in Elle's university . Elle happened to be a cheerleader in the basketball team. They were tagged as the sweetest couple in the whole school. Everyone knew they were dating.
One day, while Elle and her family were watching the news, she saw a very familiar face,"Wow! I think I've seen that face before" she said in her head , until she finally recognised the face in the news. "Oh my gosh" as the glass of juice slipped through her hands, "Elle! why did you do that?!" her mom asked while Elle was still in shock. "Mom! its Ashton! Ashton's in the news" she said while panicking. "What? what's the news about? did something happened to him? " her mom said,

"Aww, he is still sweet *oh stop it! girl you have a boyfriend*" Elle said, her mom said "Aww honey he is still an angel even if he is the CEO in a big company". Elle's heart fluttered as she saw how handsome the man who promised that he would marry her. She didn't care about her boyfriend at this point because of the quarrels they have. Then 2 months later, a few days before their 4th anniversary Elle and Kevin broke up. Elle cried all day, she didn't eat for a few days. She also used up her leave of absence.
4 months later
Elle had finally put her self together and became confident again, she finally moved on. She continued her job and worked really hard to save money to build her own coffee shop. Weeks went by and she saw her ex boyfriend with another in the same coffee shop she worked at, She rolled her eyes and continued working, she didn't care about him anymore. She got a feeling that maybe Kevin is making her jealous, he even brought Elle's ex bestfriend, and again she didn't care. She is waiting for the guy who promised him they will live happily ever after. At this point Elle is losing her hope, she keeps asking her self...(is there still a chance?a chance that a billionaire will marry a barista? of course not!)
