welcome to the second chapter of this hpii fanfic. here, we will establish simon's outside environment a bit more. remember what was mentioned last chapter.
simon is now in said location, or is travelling to said location. he is either transported there or travels there himself, either by boat or by foot because he already lives there.

this chapter will be short & unimportant. it is usually created solely to build around simon. simon might have a friend that reoccurs maybe a few times. this character is likely introduced now, & was possibly mentioned in the last chapter.
oh goodness! it's time to introduce our love interest!
our love interest is stella. she will have no last name, & will be named some form of stella. if not, she either adopts a traditional hawaiian name, or a name made to reference people you don't like as a petty way of getting back at those people, despite the fact that this character is meant to be seen as a love interest. for simplicities sake, her name is stella.
it is also worth mentioning that it is also possible the writer takes some creative liberties & makes simon gay. when this happens, without fail, the writer also sexualizes MLM relationships to hell & back & makes the story basically yaoi, because apparently nobody who writes these stories seems to know that gay people are normal. however this is rare to beginwith, & simon will basically always have a female love interest.
simon will either meet stella & immediately become infatuated with her, or was already in love with her before the events of the story. stella is either a sailor herself or is based on some hawaiian stereotype. it is usually the latter.
this is one of the few character splits that happens with simon. simon will either be a shy, almost yaoi-bottom-like uwu character who constantly needs validation & to be pittied, or simon is a rambunctious, flirtatious sex-machine who goes absolutely insane over any woman he basically looks at. there are no in betweens, & very few exceptions to this rule.
"AWOOGA! HUMMINA HUMMINA" Simon goes for this girl. see how this usage of slang was solely for the purpose of expressing love?
simon will not talk to this love interest yet though. that's for the next chapter & the chapter afterwards.
simon will now narrate about the world around him some more. let's do that.
let's start with the court & the infirmary. despite the location being based on hawaii, the place simon goes to will function like 15th century england, where the church is almighty. the church, in this story, will always be Christian Catholic, or based around catholicism. the church is usually always the scapegoat of antagonists for these stories.
the court in this location & it's justice system will not be elaborated on. simon ALWAYS knows how influential the church is, but apparently has never taken a government class. it is also worth mentioning that if simon shows up to a foreign place, he will also immediately know everything about it, including the previous information.
this is also where the stella octangula shows up to represent the location or as a church symbol. it will be Everywhere, & i mean everywhere. it will be in the floors, on the walls, on the flags, on the trees, on the moon, in YOUR walls, everywhere everywhere.
we should also take time to mention it's possible simon is not human, & is instead usually based on some aquatic creature. this is usually an angler fish.
simon is now going to do a new thing, instead of rambling internally to himself & fauning over women he's never talked to. this marks the end of this chapter.
