❄️Paris!❄️

"Well, Y/N. Where'd you and Anya go?"

Y/N turned her attention to Vlad, "Oh we just went to the park. That's all."

"And how was that?" Vlad asked, rubbing two sticks together in attempt to make a fire.

"It was alright. Anya's actually seems really nice. I think she has a bit of trust issues — I wouldn't blame her, though." Y/N leaned back, placing her feet on the table.

"Do you remember what her and Dmitri went out for?" He suddenly asked.

"Uhh.. I think they went to get food maybe?" Y/N shrugged. "I'm sorry, I forgot."

Vlad chuckled, "You're fine! I forgot as well — that's why I asked in the first place."

"Oh." Y/N awkwardly laughed, realization just now hitting her.

A silence settled over the two. They were both doing their own things; Vlad finally lighting the fire and Y/N fidgeting with her necklace.

It seemed unreal to her, like it was all just a dream and the only proof she had that it wasn't, was the necklace in her hands.

A loud crash echoed through the room next to them, seemingly ripping through the silence.

"Someone's here," Vlad quietly exclaimed, splashing water over the fire.

Y/N slowly stood up, then quietly approached Vlad, standing beside him, "should we get out of h-"

"- Yes." Vlad quickly walked out of the room while Y/N silently grabbed her bag, rushing after Vlad after.

"How can we be sure they're raiding us?" Y/N murmured, "What if it's just Dmitri and Anya pranking us?"

The faint sound of men talking filled the air, as if answering Y/N's question. "Yeah, let's go." Vlad whispered, silently walking out with Y/N beside him.

"Where do you think they are?" Y/N looked around the square. It was hard for Y/N and Vlad to hear each other over the loud bustling and yelling, so they practically had to yell just to hear each other.

Vlad sighed, then dragged Y/N into an alley that quieted the business, just a bit.

And as if on cue, right as Vlad was opening his mouth to speak, Dmitri and Anya walked up to them.

"Hey Vlad, hey Y-"

"Someone invaded the castle!" Vlad frantically said, "we can't go back there-"

"We don't have to." Dmitri grinned, holding up a small shard of a diamond.

"How'd you-" Y/N yipped, unable to form words.

"Anya had it." He glanced over at her.

"I'm sorry - I-I had to find someone I could trust- and I didn't trust you guys yet-"

"I don't blame you," Vlad chuckled.

"Anyways," Dmitri clapped his hands. "Lets get going now, shall we?"
