❄️Decisions.❄️

"Y/N!" A voice called. It seemed far away, almost muffled. But whoever they were, the voice seemed lively and happy.

Y/N fluttered her eyes open, tilting her head at the blurry figure above her.

"Wake up!" The person chirped, now sitting on top of her.

She rubbed her eyes then looked around her room. Oh right, they were in Paris. Her gaze then landed on the girl above her, "Anya?"

"Yes?" She grinned, her hair falling loosely over her shoulders.

She's never seen her so happy. She couldn't help but wonder what happened. "What're you doing here?"

"Guess what!" Anya yipped, both her hands by Y/N's shoulders.

"I dunno, tell me?"

"You gotta guess." She giggled.

"I don't know, though!" Y/N couldn't help but smile as well. Anya's smile seemed to clear up her gloomy mood and replace it with fluttery and happy feelings.

"Ugh, fine. I'll tell you," Anya playfully rolled her eyes, biting back a grin - which, she was failing at, "Vlad talked to Lily."

Y/N blinked a few times, too tired to think this through, "and?"

"-AND she said there was a Russian Ballet tonight."

"Go on?"

"Which gives me a chance to see her highness herself."

Y/N couldn't tell if she was excited or not. It was honestly hard, but Anya's concerned expression seemed to make the girl feel bad for not being so sure. Anya actually cared for her.

"Are you alright, Y/N?" Anya murmured, climbing off of the girl to lay next to her. The concerned look on her face still remained.

"Oh, yeah I am," Y/N turned to face Anya, "why ask?"

"You just looked.. distant, I guess," she sighed, finding the other girls hand to give it a squeeze, "you know, if you're worried about not seeing me again, I'll find a way. I could sneak out! Oh and you used to know m- Anastasia, right? Maybe they would be fine with you visiting once in a-"

"Anya." Y/N interrupted with a huff. Anya flinched at her tone, "I — sorry.."

"No, I was bugging you." She shook her head, running her fingers through her hair, "I get it."

"You weren't bugging me, okay?" The H/C breathed, "I just, don't want to get my hopes up, I guess."

"Mm." Anya hummed, a small sigh following after, "it'll all end well, though. I promise," she gave a small smile, "I'd miss you and Dmitri too much - even though he's a bit annoying."

This caused the girl to give a breathy laugh, "okay, Anya. Thank you for caring."

"Of course, Y/N." She smiled, giving the girl next to her a giddy feeling again. But also guilt. She knew she'd never see that smile again if she followed her fathers path.

"You still look sad." She frowned, "come on - you can tell me what's wrong."

"It's nothing, really." Y/N glanced at Anya for a second, then at the ceiling.

"I'm gonna cheer you up somehow if you keep on lying to me."

"I'm not lying?"

"You lied again!"

Y/N sighed, then shook her head, "Anya-"

"Don't say it if it's a lie." The girl gave her a playful grin.

Y/N lightly rolled her eyes, but kept her mouth shut.

"Now," Anya started, her grin still remained, "I'm gonna cheer you up."

Y/N raised an eyebrow at her, "and how's that?"

Anya furrowed her eyebrows together and bit her lip, as if she was thinking of multiple ideas. Her eyes then lit up, "I got it." A slight smirk now played at her lips.

"Anya, what're you-"

She sat on top of the girl again, her hands placed near her waist. The girl under her narrowed her gaze, "no-"

It was too late, Anya ran her fingers along Y/N's waist earning yelps and giggles from the H/C, "I got you too smile!"

Y/N tried her best not to laugh but kept failing miserably, "no -" she burst into a fit of giggles again.

The next thing that happened wasn't what Anya expected. Y/N flipped them over to where she was on top of her, "Wait - have mercy!" She yelped, giving her puppy dog eyes.

The girl above her sighed, then playfully rolled her eyes, "Okay, okay." She crawled off, breathing heavily.

Anya smiled at her, "See, it worked. You're smiling now!"

Y/N lightly elbowed Anya, "Oh, hush."
