I peeped across the dividing glass. Doon sa pwesto kung nasaan si Alliston. She's unusually quiet after ng sagutan namin kanina. I can't help but to feel slightly guilty though.

Did I went overboard?

Tsk! But she deserved it. Nasanay kasi ito na walang kumakalaban at nagsasalita ng diretsa dito. Lahat kasi natatakot sa ugali nito. Little did people know that Alli is actually a good person too. Much as I hate to admit, I know that Alli is giving people she loves too much. Yung tipong nakakalunod na yung atensyon nito.

Kahit sinusuka na nga sya, sige pa din ng sige. Laban pa din ng laban.

Kelan kaya sya mapapagod?

Napapikit na lang ako para kalmahin yung sarili ko. I know I am over reacting on this matter. It shouldn't bother me if Alli is still calling Kyeroh. It's still her personal life though.

Pero sino ba naman ang hindi maiinis if Grant will call you in the middle of the night just to say Alli is trying to call Kyeroh? That I should stop Alli on her stupidities dahil maaari pa yung maging evidence against us na totoo ngang naging kabit ito ng lalaking iyon. Mapapahiya kaming lahat matapos kong magfile ng libel case against the publications in Australia for releasing an article confirming Alli's involvement sa pamilya ng mga Montecillo.

Here I am, helping her to get out of that mess. Tapos ito naman mukhang tuwang tuwa pang maglangoy langoy sa katangahan nya.

Tsk! Aria is right. I should stay away with Alli. Not everyone needs saving. The likes of Alli bear needs someone who has a stronger personality than her to control her. Not someone who will just please her.

Naiinis na tumayo ako mula sa mesa ko. It's already past two o'clock in the afternoon. I hadn't have my breakfast yet. Baka nagugutom na din ito.

I know Alli can't eat alone. She'd rather starve herself to death than to eat alone. Kagaya din kasi ito ni Aria na takot sa madaming tao na walang kasamang kakilala nito.

I know because she's my younger sister's bestfriend. I know a lot about her.

Pagkalabas ko ng office ay umangat yung seryosong mukha ni Alliston. It's as if she's readying herself for my orders. Like a true assistant that's ready to serve.

I took a deep breath.

"Let's have lunch, Alli bear. Hindi ka pa ba nagugutom?"

She bit her lower lip as she's still staring at me. "I am starving kanina pa. I thought we'll have breakfast together. Pero inaway mo lang ako."

"Naiirita lang ako sayo." I dismissed. "But you should have told me na nagugutom ka. Kahit naman naiirita ako sayo kung sinabi mong gutom ka na, I'd still set aside our indifferences. I am not that heartless."

Tumayo na din ito at saka kinuha yung wallet nito. "I'll treat you to lunch para lumamig na yang ulo mo."

"No, Alli bear. I am still mad at you for your stupidity. Hindi ako nadadaan sa suhol. If you truly want to appease me, you need to stop doing that. Stop calling that guy and start focusing on me. Just mine alone."

Natigilan ito sa pagkuha ng gamit nito at saka tumitig ulit sakin.

"Do you really like me, Popper bear?"

I rolled my eyes. "Sinagot ko na yan di ba? I told you that I like you more than I planned to."

"No." Umiling ito. "Not that kind." Pinasadahan ako nito ng tingin. "The kind of liking someone romantically."
