Day: 5

In this world, there were soulmates. You couldn't see the color of your soulmate's eyes until you met them. Logan couldn't see purple, which was an odd color for eyes to be, he thought.

He really wanted to meet his soulmate. Not being able to see the color purple was an inconvenience. He also wanted to get to know the person, but less so than the part where he didn't want to be inconvenienced anymore.

~~~
Virgil on the other hand, was trying everything to not meet his soulmate. He didn't want to ruin his soulmate's life by being himself. He knew that whoever it was was probably a nice person that deserved everything, but he was hardly good enough for them, whoever they were.
Virgil worked at a small coffee shop in New York City. He lived in a small apartment and went to art school.
Logan lived in Gainesville, Florida, and had a lot of money, as he was quite successful in his field of science.
Logan was visiting New York for the week, thinking about moving his business up here, as it may benefit his company.
He had the day off for today, since he'd done his meetings yesterday. He thought he'd get some coffee. He stopped at a small coffee place, and went inside.
"Next!" Called the person at the counter.
Logan walked up and noticed the person had a trans pin that said he/him on it.
"How may I..." The man trailed off. Virgil looked up and noticed the purple on the man's outfit.
"Hello, I'm Logan Andromeda. And you are?" He asked, smiling a little.
"I'm Virgil, Virgil Storme, Uh... hi."
"Your eyes are very pretty." Logan said. They were a light purple, but around the iris they were an almost magenta. They had little flecks of both lavender and darker purple. Logan could stare into them for hours.
"Thank you, yours are pretty too." Virgil said.
"You.. um... Hello, soulmate"
"M-my shift ends in a few minutes, um... would you maybe wanna... go somewhere?"
"I think that'd be lovely."
And so they did. When Virgil got finished with his shift, he found Logan, who was sitting and waiting for him in the cafe.
"So where would you like to go?" Virgil asked.
"I'm not sure. There are many places around here that are cool."
It was starting to get dark out.
"Ooh, I know a thing!" Virgil said, grabbing Logan's hand and running in a random direction. Logan allowed himself to be pulled.
Virgil stopped and looked out over a very nice little patch of grass in the trees.
"We could go stargazing here" He said
"I love to stargaze."
Virgil's smile got a little more confident, knowing that his date wouldn't immediately hate his interests.
"Come on" He said, leading Logan a little farther into the field before sitting down on the grass.
Logan sat beside him.
As they sat together, looking at the stars, they knew this was the start of something great.
