It all started in 8th grade with a common interest.

Princey: Hey! I saw that you liked My Hero Academia too! Your Todoroki cosplay is really good.

SlimeySnekBoi: Thank you. I think your Bakugo cosplay is good too.

Princey: Would you like to be friends?

SlimeySnekBoi: Of course.

That was the beginning. Over the year, they got closer, and by 9th grade, it seemed as if Janus knew everything about him. More than anyone else. They'd stay up for hours on call together, even falling asleep on call together sometimes. They cosplayed together, watched new things together, but they hadn't met up yet.

Janus lived in California, while Roman lived in Florida. Both were big art fans. Roman's dream was to become an actor, Janus wanted to be a painter or become a professional cosplayer.

In 10th grade, the made a plan. A plan to go to the same college. They'd apply to the same places and hope they got into the same one. They both were shooting for NYU but they applied other places too.

11th grade rolled around, and Roman realized his feelings for Janus might not be purely platonic. He didn't do anything about it, though, as he didn't want to ruin their friendship.

12th grade, Roman finally built up the courage to tell Janus his feelings.

Princely.Cos: Hey, Jan, can you call now?

SnekBoi.Cos: Yeah.

Roman called his friend. "Hey." He greeted when Janus picked up.

"Hello."

"I just have something to tell you really fast. Well two things. I'll start with the one that I know will have a decent reaction. I got into NYU!" He said.

"Really? I did too!" Janus said. "Finally we could meet in person."

"Yeah! Then, um... my other thing. I- I have feelings for you. Like romantic ones. I have for a few years, I was just scared."

He saw Janus smile a little. "I like you too, Roman."

"Oh thank god, that would've been awkward if you didn't like me."

"I agree that would suck."

So they started dating. The end of senior year was approaching. Then it was summer. Roman could hardly wait for college to start. God that was weird for him. Wanting school to start.

After 3 months and many phone calls, the two were finally heading to college. They'd agreed to get there on the same day, so they could find each other.

Roman had packed all the stuff he hadn't already sent ahead into his car and was ready to leave.

"Mom, dad, I'm leaving for college now!" He called, grabbing his keys.

He heard a few noises of affirmation from the living room. His parents had always given him things he wanted, but they were so absentee. All they cared about was money, so he didn't expect them to care.

He walked out and started to drive to the school.

After a few hours of driving- and a lot of traffic-, he got to the campus. He parked and got all of his stuff out. He walked into the school.

"I'm Roman Prince. I'm here to check in." He said to the lady at the check in desk.

"Roman Prince..." She repeated as she typed it out his name into the computer. "Here's your schedule and room number." She said, handing him a paper. "You'll have one other roommate."

"Thank you." He said.

He walked up to his room. He knocked, hearing movement inside.

"Come in!" Called a voice from inside.

He walked in and saw a very familiar face.

"Jan?" He asked. The other turned.

"Ro!" He yelled.

Janus jumped at him and they hugged. Roman pulled away a little and pressed his lips to his boyfriend's.

"Oh my god, hi!" Roman said, pulling away.

"Hi" Janus said, giggling in a not very Janus way.

"So we're roommates now, that's fun."

"Oh my god they were roommates." Janus laughed.
