Virgil ran up to his room. He had gotten into an argument with Roman again. Of course he had. They couldn't get along.

Only once he'd closed the door did he let his anger show. He screamed at the top of his lungs. (Good thing the rooms were sound-proof, otherwise Patton would get worried.) He punched a pillow and threw it at the wall.

"STUPID PRINCE!" He yelled. There was a knock at the door. He opened the door. Janus was standing there.

"Hey, can I come in?" He asked.

"Sure, fine, whatever." Virgil said. He stepped back and let Janus into his room and closed the door.

"You okay, babes?" Janus asked, cupping Virgil's cheek.

"Stupid Princey decided to be a jerk." Virgil muttered.

"He is quite /intelligent/." Janus said, pulling Virgil into a hug. "How about we go watch some movies and calm down?" Virgil nodded.

Janus snapped and they were in comfy clothes. He snapped again and chocolate was sitting on Virgil's bed. Virgil went and sat down. He grabbed the chocolates and ate one. Janus day next to him and wrapped an arm around the other. Virgil relaxed into the touch and Janus turned the TV on.

"What would you like to watch, hon?" Janus asked.

Virgil thought for a moment. "Monty Python."

"Oh /no/ I /hate/ that movie, let's watch it." Janus smiled. They turned it on and watched for a while. After the movie was done, Virgil was feeling better.

"Hey Jan?" He got a hum in response from the tired snake side cuddled up to him. "Thanks for making me feel better."

"Anytime, Emo Boy." Janus said. "Love you."

"Love you too." Virgil kissed Janus' temple.

Roman felt terrible. He'd yelled at Virgil for something he couldn't control. It didn't help Patton was guilt tripping him. Thomas had been extra stressed lately, and Roman blamed Virgil.

He was a little on edge since the whole wedding thing, and since Janus had gotten accepted. So he'd snapped at Virgil. He made a dark side comment and Virgil had run off.

He was about to knock on Virgil's door to apologize, when he heard voices.

"Anytime, Emo Boy." Said a voice that seemed to be Janus. "Love you."

"Love you too." That was Virgil.

Virgil and Janus were... together? They were dating? He peeked through the cracked door. They were cuddled up on Virgil's bed with a movie playing in the background.

"Are you guys dating?!" He asked, opening the door. The two jumped apart.

"Fuck off!" Virgil yelled.

"Watch your language!" Patton yelled from downstairs.

"Fine, I'm leaving!" Roman said, completely forgetting why he came in in the first place.

He walked out and slammed the door. He walked to his room and closed the door. He sat on the floor and put his head in his hands. Why did he feel... empty?

Heartbroken

"Fucking stupid prince!" Virgil said, pacing.

"Baby, come sit down. If he tells the others, it won't be that big of a deal." Janus said, holding his arms out for Virgil to cuddle him.

"Fine." He practically collapsed into Janus. Janus turned and maneuvered them so they were laying down.

His head was right under Janus' chin. He buried his face in Janus chest. Janus smelled like vanilla and rose. He always did. The scent always seemed to calm him. He felt kind of sleepy.

Janus pressed small kisses to Virgil's head. "I love you." Janus muttered into his hair.

"Love you too." Virgil's voice was muffled, but Janus could still understand him. "I'm gonna go to bed now." He said, eyes already closing.

"Okay, hon." Janus said. "Night."

"G'night." Virgil said before drifting off.
