"Remember when I went to Milan to take photographs of the new 'Leonardo Pablo Estate' ?"

I nodded. Of course, I remembered that. I have 'peace' for a whole 3 weeks.

"Well, I decided to attend the 'Milan Fashion Week'. I got a seat in the front row and I instantaneously recognised her on the runway. She was modelling a sequined black evening gown by Frans Delour. It was soooo beautiful... she was so beautiful... she was beyond beautiful."

Neither Oliver nor I wanted to interrupt Matthew's little love rant. I'd never admitted it to them, but my heart still bleeds for Cori. It hurts me when they talk about love. It hurts so so much. I wouldn't tell them that though... Oliver looked very engrossed in Matthew's story.

"After the show, I desperately wanted to see her again. So I pretended to be a fashion journalist in order to gain access backstage and to the models."

"Mate, you pretended to be a fashion journalist just to meet Hannah?" Oliver asks between fits of laughter.

"Yes, I did and mind you, I would make an excellent fashion journalist. I have an exquisite sense of style! Now stop disrupting and let me explain how Cupid's arrow struck gold."

Cupid and I do not get along at all. The next time I see that diapered baby I'm going to strangle him. He is Number 1 on my strangle list. How dare he hit me and Cori with the same arrow, I wasn't good enough for her anyway. There was this one time when we had just started dating and I convinced myself that I wasn't good enough for her so I broke up with her. She was so devastated by it that she hurt herself and I could never forgive myself for that. I put her through so much and she still loved me unconditionally. A couple of weeks went past and she still wasn't able to convince me that I was perfect for her because when I'm upset, the only person that can cheer me up is me. After a while though, I realised that she loved me and I wasn't forcing her to, she did it through free will and she truly loved ME! I didn't understand what love had meant to her and to me until my angel was taken away from me. On a lighter note... Matthew was ready to continue with his story after Olivers muffled apology.

"It took a while to find Hannah but I eventually found her sitting alone in a dressing room. She had changed out of the evening gown and was wearing black jeans with a t-shirt that read: 'Don't talk to me unless you are extremely good looking'. I was sadly starstruck but after giving myself a once over, I realised that I was better than extremely good looking."

Matthew truly understands the meaning of 'humble'. On an average day, he describes himself as a character from my sister's fantasy novels. The way she ogles those guys would make you think that they were real.

"I walked up behind her and whispered: 'I'm here to kidnap you.' But that was when I felt the sharp pain of an elbow connecting with my ribs."

I'm trying so hard not to burst out laughing right now. Typical Matthew to say something stupid and typical Hannah to elbow. I do feel for the lad though, that girl is strong.

"Mate... why would you say you were going to kidnap her?!" Oliver says unable to hold back the laughter.

"It was part of the pick-up line!"

"What pick-up line?"

"I'll tell you if you both let me continue. Jeez, I can never get a word in between you two."

Naturally, he rolls his eyes and then smirks at me. He knows how annoyed I get at him. You know what, Cupid has officially been demoted to Number 2 on my Strangle List. Believe me when I say... I take that list very seriously.

"When she turned around and realised that it was me, she frantically started apologising and let me sit down across from her. After a few very awkward moments she asked why I had whispered that I was there to kidnap her. To which I replied that it was a pick-up line. She looked at me confused and asked what kind of pick-up line started with 'Im here to kidnap you.' That's when I made my move and said: The one that ends with 'And take you to heaven where you belong'. "

In any other situation, even I agree, that that would have been a very good pick-up line but not with Hannah Davids everybody. She is very panicky in situations where you sneak up on her. You learn from experience though.

"Mate, that's a really good pick-up line. Where'd you hear it?"

"No, no. Young apprentice. A master such as I comes up with his own pick-up lines. Also, it's not just 'really good', it's absolutely brilliant. I had Hannahs blushing within mere seconds!"

I used to make Cori blush too. Hell, I think I blushed more than she did. She was my world, she meant everything to me. She was my happiness. Now, I have nothing again.

"So, do you love her then Mate.? Like truly love her."

"More than anything!"

I thought I could be here, all listen to this. I thought I would be okay listening to Matthew confess his love. I thought I'd be fine... I'm a terrible friend. I should be happy for him instead I'm jealous that I lost that love that he just found. I got up and started walking towards the door. I could hear Oliver and Matthew asking me where I was going and frantically trying to get my attention but I just grabbed Oliver's keys off the coffee table and kept walking until I was out the door and in the car.

By the time I walked back into my apartment, I already had tears threatening to escape my eyes. I miss feeling that love. Waking up every morning to a message from her, seeing her beautiful face whenever she would sneak herself over and being able to tell her that I love her. I still love her, I always will. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

I had made it to my bed and the tears had started. After the accident, I had felt so broken... as if my life would never be whole again. I was right... two years later and I still cry over her. There's a sharp pain in my heart that I try to ignore, but it just hurts so much. I can't handle it any longer. It hurts so much to not have her and to still have to continue in this life.

I get up from my bed slowly and make my way to the bathroom. I hear loud bangs on my door and I know that it's Oliver. He knows what I'm going to do...

"I'm sorry Corrianne. I'm sorry Oliver" I say as I run the blade across my wrist for the countless time since she left.
