Description:
Luke Hemmings has never been content with his body. When he looks in the mirror all he sees is an ugly boy with legs that are too long for his own good and a stomach that's big and unattractive. And he doesn't like that boy. So he has a routine to make himself feel pretty. He forces himself to vomit his meals. He thinks that if no one can love him fat, no one can love him at all. Luke thinks that perfection is a trait that derives from the outside, not from within. Until Winter Cartridge, a quiet girl in his class tells him different. She believes that she can change Luke for the better. She believes she can break his twisted routines.
Warning:
There are acts of bulimic activity that can be triggering to someone who is either bulimic or has been recently cured of the disorder.
I know Luke Hemmings isn't bulimic and I'm not saying anything about his current weight in real life through this book. I think he is perfectly fine just the way he is and that he doesn't need to change. I just felt he goes with the theme and direction of my story.
