The Camping Trip * A Hayes Grier Fanfic*

Chapter 1

Five Years Ago

Alli's POV

I was nine years old and we were camping at St. Joe State Park. We were waiting on some family friends to join us but a different family pulled up. That's weird. They have four kids and one looks about my age the others looks like teenagers and the last one is a baby. I tell my mom and she says don't worry about it and we went down to the pit were we ride. My mom would go off to the side while I ride around by myself for a little bit. Then there was someone that was from the campsite that was supposed to be our family friends. It was the boy my age. I reved up signaling that I want to race and he stopped and nodded his head. We lined up and my mom said go and I was gone. I was winning! I kept going and we were getting closer and closer to the finish. I WON!!

I pulled off to the side were I got off of my four wheeler and did a happy dance. The kid pulled up and put the kick stand down an his dirt bike. He took off his helmet and told me his name was Hayes Grier. I took off my helmet and said my name is Alli Johnson. His Jaw dropped.

"Your a girl?" He said pointing at me.

"Duh what do I look like a monkey? Wait don't answer that." I said and he laughed.

"Well nice to meet you Alli." He said sticking his hand up for me to high five and I did.

We raced around till it got dark and went back to the campsite to eat dinner. It turns out that our families became friends and they were our new family friends because when we got back everyone from the two campsites were talking and playing while Grandma and Hayes mom were making dinner.

From then on we went camping with the Grier family.

Five Years Later

Alli's POV

"Skylynn where you at!" I shout as I arrive at the Griers. Yes our families are still friends and I come down to North Carolina twice or once a month to see Hayes, Skylynn and the others because since that camping trip they are like my second family. Actually the camping trip is next weekend I am going to come with the Greir Family. We have to drive all the way to Missouri to get there but oh well.

"Alli your here!?" I hear Sky yell and little feet running. She sees me and runs carefully down the steps to me.

"Sky!" I say as I drop my bags and hug her and give her kisses all over her face.

"Alli quit that tickles!" She squeaks and I stop.

"Does Hayes know your here yet??" She asks. "Nope. I didn't tell him when I was coming this month so we are going to surprise him. You in Sky??" I explain and she nods her head with a huge smile. Then Elizabeth comes in.

"Hey Al you can put your stuff in Hayes room and Nash is here but he doesn't feel good so you watch Sky." She says and I nod my head yes and then she leaves. Me and Sky take my stuff up to Hayes room and then go and wake up Nash so he knows I am here and doesn't freak when wakes up.

I tell Sky that I will be right back and we can play horses. I walk to Nash's room and the door is open so I just walk in and sit on Nash's bed next to him. I shake him a little bit and he starts to wake up. He turns to face me and opens his eyes. Then his eyes got wide. I didn't tell him either. Actually Elizabeth was the only one who knew when I was coming this month.

"Alli you're here!" He says as he sits up to hug me.

"Yeah I missed y'all! So mom told me you didn't feel good. What's wrong?" I said as I hugged him back.

"Nothing my stomach just hurt and I had a headache but I am fine now!" He answered.

"Good. Me and Sky are going to play horses, you wanna play?" I ask while walking to the door.
