"Okay Lily and Kingston?" Said my mom. We both walked up and performed our duet. It was a little out of my comfort zone but I think the only thing that put it over the top was I guess the chemistry? I don't know where I stand with him, so saying that would be weird. My mom announced the duet. "Okay so the duet will be Lily and Kingston!" Kingston walked over to me and hugged me. To be honest, I thought Summer and Amy deserved the duet but at least I HAD the duet. We both decided to hang out at shakes and ladders, where we both made small talk.
"So, how's your life at home?"
"Not too fun. I do have a few pets but other than that I barely have time to do anything. My mom is not the best at time management."
" Well, if it makes you feel better I could stay behind today? And help you out with anything if you need?"
"That would be great."
Right before he got up I realised we were holding hands. But he didn't let go. He held my hand and led me to the locker room. And what happened next was pretty shocking. I'll just let you see for yourself.
"Kingston, I hate surprises. Would you just tell me what's going on?"
"If I did it wouldn't be a surprise."
And then, he kinda sorta maybe kissed me. And I kinda sorta maybe kissed back.
And my mom will kinda sorta not like this at all.
