Colors Of The Wind

I'm sure many of you have seen the movie "Pocahontas"

Yes, most of it is made up, and not even close to what really happened.

...However, they got one part right.

Pocahontas kept telling John Smith he had to sing with all the voices of the mountain, and paint with all the colors of the wind.

She said and did many things most people wouldn't understand. Things that people wouldn't dare believe.

John Smith didn't, not at all. Why?

He had blue eyes. Eyes that looked very similar to my cover up.

Her eyes were brown. Truly, truly brown.

"You can own the Earth, and still, all you'll own is earth, until, you can paint...with all the colors, of the wind."

That makes perfect sense to me. It would make perfect sense to Azalya, as well, but she'd never admit it. She denies who she is. But she can't change her eyes. If later she decides she wants to cover up, of course she can. But she still can't change who she is. Cover ups are just like straightening or curling your hair.

You can do it every day. People might never even know you do it.

It appears your hair is totally curly/straight.

But you know it's not. And it never will be. After you stop straightening/curling for a while, it'll go back to normal. It's just life.

People should just be themselves.

More people like you than you think.

And if they like the fake you, then they don't really like you at all.

...Trust me.

We are all mean, and we are all nice.

All  of us.

It simply depends on which one we choose to show.

And yes, only brown eyed people can paint with all the colors of the wind.

But if colored eye people truly tried with all of their heart....

They would be able to use a few colors of the wind. As long as they aren't going through their period of blindness.

 Like you are.
