I went back to Azalya's house. I don't know, I'm just like addicted to it there. Maybe because she's the only one who understands me.

Even though she doesn't understand me at all.

Azalya's mom answered the door, her green eyes shining. As soon as she saw me, she shouted up the stairs, "Azalya! Someone's here to see you!" But she didn't sound completely happy. Maybe she still had a grudge on me for messing up Azalya's name when she was born.

But to be honest, I couldn't imagine her name being spelled Azalea.

But maybe I just tell myself that.

Because it's my fault.

Anyway, Azalya never came down, so I just walk up the stairs to her room. Myself. She's there with another girl. Who's not me. I don't know why that bothered me. But it did. The girl was fakely brown eyed. And her name was Zytle. Don't ask me how I know. I just....did.

Sure enough, I was right. "Ohh, is that your sister Azalya? She has beautiful blue eyes. I wish my eyes were blue." Azalya spoke up. "No, Zytle. She's my friend, Sandra."

Friend. After all I'd done for Azalya, she only viewed me as a friend. It didn't take rocket science to know I cared about her MUCH more than she cared about me.

"Do you like her?" She loudly asked. "I guess." Azalya half-heartidly answered. "More than me?" Zytle asked, sounding terrifed. "No." Azalya simply answered, to Zytle's delight. "You know, I uh...Still have ears right?" I asked, almost in tears. "AZALYA HER DEPRESSION IS SHOWING!" Yelled young Zytle. "I know. With Sandra, it always shows." Said my best and only friend. "I think you should drink the tears, look how sad she looks!" Zytle told her with sympany.

Wow. The kid actually cared. About me. Wonder what was wrong with her.

Azalya's eyes grew with happiness suddenly. "Nah. But you know what I CAN do? Show you a trick. I can do something special with my left hand!"

Oh no. She wouldn't.

Wait.

She would.

And She did.

She wrote "Azalya Bronzeview Firebush", "Zytle Scarce Wind", And, after a LOT of considering, grumpily added "Sandra FullMoon Clark." Zytle didn't seem surprised like everyone else. Wow. I SERIOUSLY wonder what's wrong with her. She even SMILED. I need to know what's wrong with her. Then she added, "I write with that hand, too....I thought I was the only one!"

Oh. THAT'S what's wrong with her.

Just to be sure, I went up to her, and sniffed her hand. Yep. She reeked of weakness. She looked at me like I was an absolute NUT, too. Maybe she wasn't so weird after all. Azalya simply rolled her eyes.

"Wait, does that mean something's wrong with us?!" Zytle screamed out. "NO-" Azalya started, but was then cut off by me. "There's nothing wrong. Nothing at all. You are a human being. Both of you. Just simply, weaker than most. That's it. But Zytle, I pity you. Your weakness shows more than Azalya's, because she has brown eyes. So she also has extreme power. You have rarity, but nothing more. And face it, there's nothing that amazing about rarity. Hazel eyes are like Fools' Gold. Beautiful, but they do you no good. No protection at all. You might as well be a blue or green eyed person. But I understand that's hard to do for people like me. Us. Er, you. But you could try and fake it. Like me. Well.......Yes, like me. Try. Paint your eyes blue. But not with paint. Or anything else."

They both looked at me with eyes as huge as golf balls. "Um..." Zytle started, but soon they were both CRACKING UP. "You're funny, Sandra." Azalya told me. Zytle nodded, barely being able to breathe.

"So, are you as good of a singer as you are a storyteller? Sing us a lullaby! I'm sleeping over, you know." Zytle told me.

I started singing, "Goodnight, Sleep tight, no more tears...In the morning, I'll be here..." They seemed like they actually liked it, but then Azalya started crying. Badly. And she didn't even drink the tears. She had been doing that lately. I know what that meant. And so did she.

She was starting to develop depression. And she couldn't drink the tears anymore. But if she couldn't....

Then Who Would?

Tbc. BTW. That song Sandra started singing was a REAL SONG, "Goodnight" by Evanescence. I suggest you lok it up, PURE AMAZINGNESS. <3
