Cheryl and Toni break the kiss and all the redhead could do was blush, but the brunette felt ashamed, as she realized she had done what Veronica did with Betty. Toni got up and walked to the bathroom, locking herself inside. She looked into the mirror and touched her lips, feeling a tingling sensation, and smiling as she knew it was from Cheryl. She decided to get out and tell Cheryl how much she liked her, but when she opened the door, the redhead was gone.

Toni walked out of the room and down to the kitchen, where Cheryl was sitting on the counter eating a tub of ice cream.

"Cherry, what's wrong?"

"Oh, nothing TT, I just thought it would be better to leave the room so you could get dressed after taking a shower"

"No, it's fine, I could've dressed in the bathroom..."

Cheryl nodded, taking another spoonful of ice cream into her mouth.

"You do realize it's still morning right?" Toni raised an eyebrow as she grinned at the redhead.

"Yes, but I wanted to have some"

"Cheryl, are you mad at me?"

"Why would I?"

"It seemed like you enjoyed the kiss, but then left when I went into the bathroom"

"It seemed the opposite to me, it looked like you loved the kiss, but you got up without saying a word, no emotions showing" Cheryl snapped back while putting the ice cream down and walking off into the living room, Toni following behind.

"Cherry, I'm sorry if I hurt you....I did like the kiss, it's the best one I've ever had, but I have to be better than Veronica"

The redhead nodded her head as if she understood and crossed her arms before turning to look at the brunette.

"So you didn't want to do the same thing she did to you?"

"No, even if I knew she wasn't just gonna walk through your door, I felt guilty, I'm a loyal girlfriend and I would never want to break her heart...or anyone's"

Cheryl's eyes softened and she smiled, knowing that if she ended up dating Toni, she would never have to worry about her cheating on her. The brunette walked closer to the redhead and placed a hand on her cheek, caressing it softly.

"Cher, I've liked you for so long, ever since I met you actually, but I have to break up with Veronica first"

"I understand, don't worry TT, I'll wait for you"

Toni smiled and gave the redhead's pale skin a kiss before walking back up to Cheryl's bathroom to shower, leaving a smiling Cheryl behind. The redhead walked back to finish her ice cream and felt lazy to make lunch for them. Getting take-out from Pop's would be the best, but she'd have to ask Toni first. She walked up to her room and knocked on the door before walking in, finding Toni in her bathrobe.

"Toni, do you want something from Pop's for lunch? I don't want to cook.."

"Yeah sure, get me whatever, but make sure the milkshake is chocolate"

"Sure babe"

The pet name surprised both of them and Cheryl bit her bottom lip, looking down and walking away. She grabbed her car keys and left Thistle house, driving towards Pop's. When she arrived, she parked her car and noticed that the diner was empty. She got out of her car and walked inside.

"Hey Pop...why is it so lonely?"

"Hey Cheryl...I'm closing down soon, I don't have enough money to keep the establishment going, and not many people want to come and eat anymore because of some gang that's been coming and going"
