"I fucked up Betty"

"Hey Cheryl it's fine, it's only been a week"

"Yeah, but you don't get it cousin, you forgave Veronica right away because you listened, Toni won't even look at me"

Cheryl crossed her arms while throwing herself on the blonde's bed. She wanted to talk with Toni about what happened, but the brunette wouldn't answer her calls or her texts. She wouldn't even let herself be seen in the school hallways. Cheryl began to think that maybe Toni left town or went back to Southside High.

Betty looked at Cheryl and then out into the hallway where a slim figure stood quietly. Betty had planned it all, and so far it had gone smoothly. She just needed to make sure Cheryl told her everything so that the other person could hear.

"Cheryl, what exactly happened?"

"The same thing Veronica told you, I was just asking her if we could go get some smoothies at Pop's, but I was just joking around when I was flirting with her, you know how playful I am, plus, Veronica was the one with the urge to kiss me, so before anything happened, I kissed her cheek in a friendly manner"

"Well since you explain it that way, it all sounds innocent, but don't you think Toni has the right to be mad? I mean, you were both cuddled up to each other in the student lounge"

"I know, it's partly my fault, I should've told Veronica to stay away, but Toni won't let me explain anything to her, she won't even accept my apology, I want her to know how much she really means to me and how sincerely sorry I am, Betty I feel like I'll never see her again"

"You're wrong on that end sweetheart"

Cheryl was shocked and sat up from Betty's bed, seeing Toni standing by the frame of the door. She was in a black see through shirt with black ripped jeans and her Pretty Poisons jacket on. She's never seen her as stunning as she was now.

"T-Toni? Why...How are you here?"

"It's all thanks to Betty, she helped me realize I had to listen to you and give you another chance"

Betty smiled and hugged Cheryl tightly, walking out of her room to leave the two girls alone. 

"So...you're here.." Cheryl looked down as she heard the tanned girl walk towards her and sit beside her on Betty's bed.

"Yes, and I heard everything....listen Cheryl, I'm sorry for being such a dickhead about such a small thing, I just let jealousy get the best of me and I didn't think before my actions. I truly am sorry...and I'm willing to make it up to you"

"You're saying?"

"Yes, lets give this another chance, go out with me tonight"

Cheryl could only smile and jumped into a hug, one which Toni gladly accepted. Even though it had been a week, both girls felt like it had been decades since they last felt each other's warmth. They stayed in that hug for a while, only letting go when Toni heard small sniffles.

"Hey baby, don't cry, it's ok"

"No Toni, it's my fault, I'm the one that always gets us into fights and I don't want it to happen again...what if..what if next time this happens..you leave me forever?"

"Hey, that's not gonna happen, I'm gonna be right here, right by your side, and I'll make sure to never let go of such a wonderful strong woman like you. Remember, you are Cheryl Bombshell Blossom, I think I'm very lucky to have you" Toni winked at the red haired girl and gave her a warm smile before giving her a soft kiss on the forehead.
