The four girls arrived at school, parking Cheryl's car, and got off. Toni walked off without waiting for Veronica, and Betty saw Veronica let out a sigh.

"Hey, it's going to be ok, I'm here for you"

"Cousin, we need to talk"

Betty turned around and smiled at Cheryl. The redhead took Betty's arm and pulled her to the side. Once she saw that Veronica left to go inside the school, she smiled at Betty.

"You should ask her out"

"Cheryl, she's with Toni"

"Yes, but Toni doesn't love her, she likes someone else now, so that gives you a freeway for asking her out"

"I'm not sure Cheryl, we've been friends since freshman year"

"Betty, come on, ask her out today, I can't stand seeing you watch her kiss Toni front of you, knowing it hurts"

"You're doing this so you can get with Toni"

"No I'm not, she doesn't like me, but I know you and V like each other, I can feel it, please?"

"Fine, but no tricks"

Cheryl nodded and the two girls walked inside the school. They saw Toni and Veronica talking by the lockers and hugging, and they realized that the two might have fixed their problem.

"See cousin? You have to act fast"

"And so do you Cheryl, don't think I don't see the way you guys look at each other"

"Betty, I can get a girl when I want to, this is you we're talking about"

"What so wrong about me?" Betty raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit offended.

"Nothing, you just...don't have much dating experience with girls"

"And you have a lot?"

"Betty, girls and guys go head over heels for me, take Reggie Mantle for example"

"Don't even talk about that douchebag"

"Whatever, all I'm saying is, you need more help than me"

The blonde rolled her eyes and they walked into their English class. They both sat down and took their homework out. The teacher walked in right after and took attendance, then began class.

"Alright class, you're going to make an essay with a partner for the next week, I will be pairing you up"

Betty bit her lip, hoping to get either Cheryl or Veronica, she was friends with Toni, but they could never agree on anything when it came to school.

"Reggie and Chuck, Josie and Sweet Pea, Fangs and Kevin, Cheryl and Toni, Betty and Veronica...."

Cheryl and Betty muted the rest of the names the teacher called out as they both got overfilled with joy to be working with their crushes. Toni and Veronica both looked back to smile at their partners and heard the teacher dismiss them.

"Cheryl, where do you want to meet after school?"

"Pop's at 6?"

"That works, see you then"

The redhead nodded as she watched the smaller girl walk off to her next class and waited for Betty to finish talking with Veronica. The raven haired girl smiled and left, leaving the two cousins together once again.

"We're meeting at 5"

"Good, me and Toni are going to Pop's at 6, you'll have time to talk with her"
