2: Mr. Hwang

EXCUSE ME?

I heard the man chuckle while i grew frustrated.

Why would I be trying to seduce him?!

I leaned back into the chair to make some space between our faces. "No sir. I was just given a smaller uniform size. I would also appreciate it if you backed up a bit." I snapped at him, attempting to stay professional.

He raised his brow, pulling back from the chair and moving toward his desk. He sighed, a small smirk crawling onto his face. "Is there a problem, Mr. Hwang?"I questioned.

His smirk got bigger while he leaned back into his office chair. "Nope. No problems here, You passed the test." I tilted my head in confusion.

"Pardon me?" I asked.

Mr. Hwang placed his hands together on his desk, not breaking our eye contact. "Congrats Ms. Kim, you're my new personal assistant."

Huh?

"I appreciate it sir but no thank you. I can't possibly take on such a role in this company." I watched as the man furrowed his eyes at me, He seemed confused.

Has he never been rejected before?

"So what would someone like you be doing in my company if you don't want to get with me?" I was completely shocked. What goes on in this man's head?

"I want to work here because my dream is to work at a big company building. Stupid dream I know, but I can promise I'm not trying to hook up with anyone here." My so called boss nodded, allowing me to get up and leave which i did.

I got up and bowed to the man sitting in front of me before turning around and continuing to walk toward the door.

"Hey."

I turned around to the man's voice and waited for him to speak.

"You're 22 aren't you?"

I sighed. "Sir, I turned 19 last week." I corrected him.

"Oh, so you're a baby."

I balled my fists and left the room before I got in trouble for punching a big company CEO in the throat.

I kept walking until I saw Sehun and the girls. They waved me over so I proceeded to walk with them.

"You took shorter than other people in Hyunjin's office." Lisa remarked.

"The only reason She took shorter than other women who apply for the personal assistant position is because they hook up with Hyunjin hoping it'll help their chances in getting the job." Sehun blurted out casually. Jisoo covered my as she said 'innocent ears' and Chaeyoung started to lecture him while he and Lisa laughed.

When Chaeyoung was done scolding the two she turned to me again, probably about to ask me about the interview. "So Y/N, There's this thing going around. Apparently Hyunjin asks the women who apply for the assistant position a certain question. Did he ask you anything?"

I thought for a second, feeling disgusted by what happened earlier in his office. "Actually yeah, he did. He asked if I was trying to seduce him because my uniform is a smaller size than what I'd actually wear." The 4 looked at each other and then back at me before Jisoo threw herself at me in a tight hug.

"Did he try anything? Are you okay? Do we need to file an assault report?" Jisoo worriedly asked me.

I giggled, pulling Jisoo's arms away from me so I could breath. "No, Everything is okay I promise. I put him in his place" I reassured them with a confident smile on my face.

They looked at each other again before at me. Sehun bent down to my level as I was a couple inches shorter. "You didn't limit him from having children right?" He whispered. I let out a laugh, amused that they actually thought I could do that to a CEO.

"Unfortunately, I didn't. Though he deserved it, What an ass." Four pairs of eyes widened. I immediately regretted my choice of words and opened my mouth to apologize only to be shut up by laughter. Chaeyoung even squished my cheeks which hurt a lot.

"Ahem. Can we not baby the new worker? Let's all get back to work."

I flinched due to the voice and the four of my older friends noticed. We all turned and saw Mr. Hwang. Bowing down to him, we apologized before walking to complete whatever tasks we had. I noticed that he smirked at me as we were leaving.

Creepy..

I told my current work protectors about it which I regret because we had to hold Sehun back from going to confront Mr. Hwang

There I sat. Just like in my dreams. I was sitting in a office that had my name on the door. I don't know why I dreamed of doing this as a job but I did. And now it was happening.

I was on the phone with a client and I heard a knock on the door. I finished up and hung up the phone before yelling come in to whoever was at the door since I had a lot to write down. "I see you're adapting just fine."

I flinched by the voice once again and looked up to see Mr. Hwang. I stood up and bowed. He chuckled and told me to sit back down.

"There's no need to be so formal. We aren't that different in age." I titled my head in confusion.

"Sir, My apologizes but I must be this formal. After all you are a CEO while I am just a worker fresh out of high school."

He nodded, looking around at how I decorated my office. "Cute. It suits you." He said, acknowledging even the smallest things in the office. I thanked him, returning to my work as he left.
