"Jungkook," the man sounded tensed.

The 20-year-old looked back at him standing by the door frame. "What is it, Hyung?"

"Can you ask for some money from your parents?"

Jungkook had spent everything on arranging a few dates, booking cabs, paying half the rent and electricity bills, and buying groceries. He didn't care for ordering much food from outside, but he had to when Jin would be downcast almost every evening. He wouldn't have taken out this tone, but seeing Jin requesting money from his parents, he felt infuriated. "I won't."

"Why? They offer it to you," Jin implored. "My brother's research is taking a hit and he can't send me any more money for this month."

"I don't want to, Hyung. I earn enough for myself."

"But it's not only you now, is it? We are now together and our finances are common. We need to share equally."

"I won't ask them, Hyung," Jungkook picked up his bag in a no-nonsense way. "We need to adjust with what we have. We can make a budget once I return from the office. I have to go now."

"Can you at least stop and talk to me?!" Jungkook heard Jin raising his voice and he felt tears stinging in his eyes again.

His chin quivered and he sniffled, not wanting to show his tears to the man. "Why do you have to talk to me right now when I told you we have a party in the office tonight? Why couldn't you wait for me to come back to have this conversation?" He asked, now slowly turning around and barely keeping himself from showing his anger.

Jimin was in his room, and he heard the yelling voices. His heart immediately picked speed and he stalked up to the window.

"So you have money for partying and not to spend on our home?"

"Hyung!" Jungkook grabbed his head. He couldn't believe Jin. "I don't spend in my office parties. It's all sponsored by the company. Why are you so against me enjoying or having a good time?! Can't you see me happy? I spend way too much on food every night because you are in a bad mood. I take the bus, but I always book cabs for you because you can't be in public places. I am paying for my lunch because I eat at the office, but I also equally pay for the groceries when I don't eat that much at home. I don't want to fight over this, please. Can we please talk about it at night?"

Jin scoffed and nodded. "Good to know what was brewing in your head. You are not allowed to buy me food anymore. Dare to do it and it will be in the trashcan."

Jungkook felt as if his head was about to burst. He turned and paced out of the house.

When Jimin saw the boy walking out of the society gate, he felt something akin to empathy for him. Jungkook had it rough. The fights have increased lately, which he could tell by the yelling noises, but he also saw the two of them fucking every night. He sometimes thought Jungkook was pathetic to be fighting with his boyfriend and then fucking him. It didn't matter, because no matter what he thought about the couple, he still felt sexually attracted to Jungkook.

Jungkook reached the office and was setting up his bag when his desk phone rang. He picked it up and said. "Jeon Jungkook."

"Come to my office, Jungkook."

"Who is it?"

"Your manager." Mrs. Sago laughed.

"Sorry, ma'am," Jungkook smiled embarrassedly before speaking again. "Coming."

Putting the phone down, he rushed to Mrs. Sago's cabin, and the moment he entered, he saw Namjoon, his teammates, and the lady herself casually sitting or standing by a big desk, having hotdogs. "Come, kiddo." The woman extended her arm and Jungkook grinned, forgetting about his headache and feeling his core wrestling with him in hunger.

At times like this, he often thought if the lady was a magician and if she knew that he hadn't eaten anything. He sat down while Namjoon attempted to talk to him, which he often did, and Jungkook could always tell that the older male was hitting on him, but he didn't encourage it. He only smiled politely and responded briefly while noshing on the hot dog.

Fed and happy, he returned to the desk, but as the day proceeded and he didn't get Jin's text, his mood altered. He didn't feel like he was up for the celebration.

He went to his manager's office in the evening and knocked before entering. Mrs. Sago looked up at him. "What is it, Jungkook?" She asked.

"Ma'am, I am not feeling good. Can I be excused from the party?" He asked.

"Do you want to talk about it, son?" The woman asked, taking off his spectacles.

Jungkook shook his head.

Mrs. Sago could see the boy's misty eyes, so she didn't push him and smiled with a nod, allowing him to leave if he wanted.

"Thank you." The boy mumbled graciously.

When he returned home, it was silent and dark. He hated to be welcomed by this environment. When he turned on the lights, he saw Jin sleeping with his books and laptops on the bed.

Slowly, he cleaned the house and took a shower before changing into comfy clothes and sitting on the edge of the bed.

Jin had woken up a while time ago when Jungkook was cleaning, but he pretended to be asleep. He suddenly got up and dashed out of the room after taking his phone with him.

Jungkook laid down on the bed, his heartbeat just going off like an engine as he tried to breathe.

Around thirty minutes later, Jin walked back in with a bag of food in his hand. Jungkook closed his eyes after moving to his side of the bed. He thought Jin would ask, but the man started eating alone.

Jungkook silently cried into his pillow.

He would never have done that to Jin, no matter if they weren't on speaking terms. Hours later, when Jungkook couldn't keep his hunger, he sat up on the bed, just staring out the window, seeing many other apartments in the A wing. He wondered if people living inside those apartments were happy, unlike him.

He gingerly got down from the bed and walked up to the kitchen to see that there was no food left. He checked the fridge, in case Jin had stored it there, but there wasn't anything. He turned around to see Jin entering the kitchen. "Where's my food, Hyung?" He asked in a hoarse voice.

"You didn't eat at the party?" Jin asked, flabbergasted.

"Will I have come home early if I went to the party?! I couldn't go when we fucking fought in the morning!" Jungkook started shaking in tumultuous emotions.

Jin's face paled and he lurked to hug him. "Sorry, baby. I honestly thought you had already eaten."

When the younger felt the warmth around him, he broke down completely. "Leave me."

"No," Jin grabbed him tighter. "Don't cry. I'll order again."

"Don't bother." Jungkook kept pushing the man with all his might, but Jin wouldn't let go. Defeated, Jungkook fell to the floor, crying his heart out while Jin continued to cling to him.
