"What are you guys doing for lunch?" Jungkook went to his seniors, but seeing them giggling, he smiled. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing," they said in unison and hid a phone behind them.

"Come on... It's something." Jungkook asked dubiously. "Show me too."

"You are too young."

"No, I am not. I have a boyfriend. Remember?"

One of the women laughed. "They were actually pranking Hoseok's boyfriend to see if he would cheat on him. Turns out, that man has never been loyal to poor Hobi."

"Really?" Jungkook looked around, ensuring that Hoseok wasn't near them to hear this.

"Yeah and don't worry. He knows. They broke up last week."

"Well," Jungkook looked down, unable to form words. "I guess... I don't have to worry about this. My boyfriend is a lot of things. But a cheater isn't one of them."

"Do you wanna bet on it?" The senior asked.

"Sure," Jungkook answered rather confidently. "Here's his number."

"Nice!" The teammate took on a challenge.

"What are you guys gonna do?"

"Not much. One of us will text him and see how long it takes for him to admit that he's single and wants to meet us. Then we will stop talking and start planning your breakup party."

Jungkook chuckled haughtily. "Then get ready to lose. Because Jin Hyung is a very straightforward man. He never lies."

"Challenge accepted."

"Jungkook!" Everyone scrambled and went back to their desks when Mrs. Sago called the intern.

"Ma'am," Jungkook immediately walked to her, looking at her and assuming that she would assign him some new work.

"Do you have a few minutes? I wanted to discuss something with you."

Jimin sat with Taehyung in a herbal tea shop. Both of them had their shirt sleeves folded and their hands still had grease on them, their hair disheveled as they carried the small cup of piping liquid. "Should we do something tomorrow?" Taehyung asked, looking at the street through the window.

"Yeah," Jimin said blankly, doting his eyes on a white and yellow cat across the street. "What do you wanna do?" His voice was robotic.

"I don't know... Maybe go hiking?"

"Nah."

"To the beach?"

"We aren't dating."

"Then videogames."

"Tch," Jimin now turned to Taehyung. "I am not good at games these days."

"Then you suggest something, diva."

Jimin snorted at Taehyung's snappy tone. He thought for a moment to consider. "I want to see Jungkook."

"What do you mean by see Jungkook?" Taehyung asked, scowling his face as the last and the bitter concentrated remains of tea touched his lips."

"See him. I want to talk to him." Jimin looked miserable.

"I thought you said you were doing much better on Jungkook front."

"I don't know," Jimin stood up, hoisting the tissue paper ball in the trash can from his chair. "I am worried for him. I wanted him for... You know what. But now it feels different. I feel that his boyfriend is assaulting him."

Taehyung followed him and dropped the disposable cup in the bin too before they walked out of the shop. "Do you mean physically?"

"Emotionally," Jimin said quickly. "And mentally. He looked so happy the day he moved in. I can still remember his beaming face under those string lights. You should have seen the look on his face on Christmas eve. His eyes were like he was a dead man walking."

"Careful, Jimin. You sound like you have caught feelings for him."

Jimin smacked Taehyung's head. "Don't be silly. I am just... Worried. He's young. He thinks he's smart, but that's only his understanding. I really wanna ask him if he's doing okay. But I don't know how would I do it without sounding like a perv."

"But you are a pervert. You stalk him and you've seen him having sex. You've rubbed one too many off while watching him having sex with his boyfriend."

"Yeah well..." Jimin thought for a moment. "But I never lied about my sexuality to get a girl to sleep with me."

"Admit it or not... You are the worst." Taehyung ran when Jimin leaned down to make a snowball to throw at him.

Jungkook was home and he couldn't help but get emotional at the conversation he had with his manager during the day. She had told him that he oftentimes looked lost as compared to his chirpy demeanor in the beginning. It had made him want to cry, hug her and tell her that he was not okay, that he was stuck in the impulsive and stupid decisions of his own heart. But as much as he was willing to end things with Jin, he still couldn't say it out loud.

Jin had left his city to move here with him. If he were to move out only after three months of staying together, it seemed to him that he will have ruined Jin's health. The man would get more anxious. What he said about Jin being straightforward was true, but it was also something that hurt him on many occasions. If he somehow asked for moving out, Jin wouldn't hesitate to bring up how much he had done to keep this relationship going. He considered himself responsible for many things that would go wrong, and if he didn't, Jin had a way to be blatantly honest about it.

"Jungkook."

The voice was stern that he heard, and he turned around from his balcony to go back inside. "Can you come here and explain something to me?" Jungkook nodded, his brows curving as he did. He sat on the bed when Jin turned his laptop's screen towards him. "What is this?"

"What's what?" Jungkook asked, looking at a document and very small font text on it.

"Even after I weeded out your profile, you are still talking to these people?"

"Wait what?" Jungkook's eyes squinted and he pulled the laptop closer, seeing that in the small font was everything he had been typing on his laptop. From the texts that he had sent to Jimin to talking to office colleagues. "How did you get this?"

"That's not important," Jin mumbled. "I want to know why didn't you tell him off clearly. Am I harassing you, Jungkook?"

"Hyung," Jungkook asked again, his voice shaky with an onslaught of anger. "How did you get all this?"

"I put software on your phone and laptop that allowed all the data to be transferred to this document. All the keys you have pressed to date, it's all here."

"Including my banking details and all my passwords?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah," Jin admitted.

Jungkook never felt so mad in his entire life, even when Jin had pushed him time and time again. "Do you realize that what you did are an offense and punishable crime?"

"And do you realize that what you said to Jimin in response to if your boyfriend is hurting you is considered a means of cheating?"

"Fuck you, Hyung." Jungkook grabbed his laptop and shut it down. He needed to get the software out, but right now, he felt like he was good for nothing with his head boiling in anger.

"Really, Jungkook? You've been dishonest with me and now you are cursing?"

Jungkook brought his palm over to his eyes, kneading them and groaning lowly at the intense headache that originated in his skull. Pulling his hand down, he just breathed, finally knowing it was over. He walked out of the room.
