AN: I'm loving all the eagerness of u guys and the updates :D
Chapter 42:
Juliet's POV:
"I can't believe I am doing this..." Rielly groaned walking in. See I don't have many girlfriends so I don't have any girls to be my bridesmaids. So my fathers wife is one of my bridesmaids and Morgan Rielly is actually my maid of honour; with Jake, Tyler, Lupul and JVR as my other bridesmaids. All the young guys were my bridesmaids and the other ones were apart of Caleb's groomsmen.
"You are doing it because you love me." I said as I got my hair done. My makeup was already finished and I was watching tv as I waited.
"Are you nervous?" He asked.
"I'm marrying my best friend Rielly. Literally, he has been my best friend for over ten years. Caleb has seen me at my worst and at my best. He could never make me nervous."
"You say that now, wait until you start walking down the aisle." He laughed. My hair was in a braided bun with a few curly pieces hanging down. A small clip was placed at the back and a veil went down my back.
"Now for your dress." My fathers wife clapped. Rielly nodded and stepped outside as I stripped down and slid on my dress. She buttoned up the back as I fixed the sleeves.
"You look so gorgeous, baby girl." She gushed as I stood in the long mirror. Caleb's parents owned a country club type thing that was near the water. Our whole wedding was outside except for the cocktail hour.
"Okay I will go get your parents." She smiled. I held my white and yellow lilies and stared at myself.
"I'm getting married." I sighed letting it sink in. The door opened and my mom and dad stepped in.
"Sweetheart you look beautiful." My mom said tearing up she patted my shoulders as a few tears slipped away. My dad had a tiny white box in his hands. He saw me staring and smiled.
"I got you a bracelet when you were five but your mother wouldn't tell me your address." He said staring at her and she rolled her eyes.
"It was a small white bracelet with a few hand crafted charms on it. I got a new bracelet and added new charms." He said handing me the box. I opened it and peered inside at the white beaded bracelet. The charms included a hockey stick, a Toronto Maple Leaf and a white diamond encrusted heart.
"I did the two charms but I ordered the heart." He said laughing sheepishly as he clipped it on.
"It's beautiful dad. Thank you." I smiled giving him a hug.
"Oh and I got you this." Mom said reaching into her small purse. She pulled out a silver chain with a heart shaped locket hanging in the middle. I opened up the locket and it was a picture of Caleb and I when we were kids and then a picture of my mom, dad and I. I smiled happily fighting back tears.
"I love it mom. Thank you." I smiled giving her a hug. As I let go Rielly came in to tell us it was time. I rolled out my shoulders and sighed.
"I'm ready." I said beginning to feel butterflies. Rielly was right...dammit.
Caleb's POV:
"You know I remember the first day your mom finally brought you to see me." My dad said standing next to me as we waited for Juliet.
"Yea?" I asked.
"Yep. You were playing soccer at the stadium. I always thought you would be a soccer kid like me. But no you're playing hockey and being the man I never was. I'm proud of you, kid." He said patting my shoulder. I smiled as he sat down next to my mom and Beverly.
"I can't believe she is marrying you." Christopher smirked. I elbowed him in the chest and he grimaced.
"I hate you." He groaned.
"As do I." I smiled as Juliet came out. Everyone watched as my girl walked down the aisle.
"Woah..." Christopher gasped. I smiled as she looked up and sighed heavily. She was nervous as anything. I couldn't help but smile wider as she got closer. She looked absolutely stunning.
Finally she stood next to me and smiled.
"I made it." She whispered.
"You look stunning, demon." I whispered back and she blushed. She laughed quietly and turned ahead. I couldn't believe this was happening. The girl I have had a crush on since grade ten will be my wife in a matter of minutes.
