Chapter 28:
Juliet's POV:
I felt the bed shift a little bit early because Caleb went to go get Clarabelle, Tidus and Beverly's new dog he got her. He got her a boy Husky that was about twelve weeks old. He doesn't have a name yet and Beverly had always wanted a dog.
The way he handled Beverly was so cute. Caleb was so good with kids and he said if he wasn't a hockey player he would have found a job that deals with kids. Even now he takes trips to local schools and children's hospitals. He was honestly the best; aside from his incredible good looks and well muscled body. He was sweet, caring, funny...He was adventurous and never afraid. He was always my role model.
However, I dozed off and woke up when he laid down again. I was right about to ask about Clarabelle and Tidus when the bed shifted and two puff balls licked my face before laying down.
"I was right about to ask." I laughed turning to face him. he smiled and lightly closed his eyes.
"Where is the puppy?" I asked.
"Downstairs. Beverly should be up in about half an hour." He yawned.
"Will he be okay?"
"Yea. He was fed and given water, he used the bathroom. He's in a cage that is wrapped with breathing holes." He explained. I moved closer and wrapped my arms around his head and snuggled my head against his.
"What are you doing?" He laughed.
"You're amazing, I love you so much." I said kissing his head.
"What brought this on?" He said closing his eyes.
"I was just thinking about how good you are with kids, how amazingly good looking you are, how sweet you are, how funny you are, how great of a role model you are...It's amazing and I am so proud of you and so glad that you are all mine." I said and he opened his bright blue eyes.
"You realize what you have been missing out on? I'm fantastic." He teased. I kissed him softly and tightened my arms around his neck. I pulled away and smiled as I laid on his chest.
"I'm excited to spend the rest of my days with you." I said as he rubbed my bare shoulder.
"Good. I love you too. I'm glad you will always be mine." He said kissing my hair.

A little later Beverly came running in and got us up. I shoved on running shorts and a hoodie and some fuzzy socks. Caleb wore grey sweatpants and a white v-neck. Clarabelle and Tidus followed us downstairs. Max made us coffee as Beverly sat excitedly infront of the tree. Caleb tossed a wrapped bone to both Clarabelle and Tidus and they began unwrapping it and eating away.
"Which one can I open first?" Beverly asked.
"Whichever one you want, babe." Cecilia smiled.
"Psst." I said to Bevs and she turned and I gestured to the dog and she smiled. She stood up and began unwrapping it.
"What is...it..."She said and she pulled off the top to reveal a grey Husky.
"It's a puppy!" She yelled and we laughed as the puppy jumped around in the cage. I opened it and the little pup began running around happily.
"Does it have a name!?" She asked.
"No. It's up to you, Bevs." Caleb smiled. She thought and we all waited.
"Toews." She said. I laughed, she really loved Jonathan Toews.
"Who is it from, princess?" Max asked. Beverly went over and read the tag and she immediately ran into Caleb's arms and hugged him tightly.
"Thanks Caley!" She said. He chuckled lightly.
"No problem, Bevs." He said kissing her head.
The rest of the morning went by nicely, Beverly mostly played with Toews. Caleb's parents bought me some gift cards, I had given my parents tickets to a cruise that left this morning. My parents bought me a Pandora bracelet along with two charms; a hockey one and my birthstone and a family picture in a nice frame.
I got Caleb a new watch he had been looking at, Caleb handed me a small box as everyone went to do their own thing.
"My present?" I smirked snatching it. I took off the wrapping paper to see two boxes. A Tiffany box and a Pandora box.
"Ooo! What is it?" I said excitedly. I opened the pandora box first. Four charms rested in the cotton. A penguin charm-I love penguins- a dangling skate, a pink heart and a big loop with stars on it. He also got me clips to stop the charms from moving.
"Aww, I love them! Thank you." I said giving him a light kiss.
"There is more underneath." He smiled. I took up the cotton and the Princess ring sat with another dangling charm. I slid on the princess ring and picked up the charm to see a 'C' and 'J' in a heart.
"Oh my God...you spent too much! I can't believe this!" I said picking up the cute charm.
"Our initials in a heart? You're amazing again." I said hugging him. I picked up the Tiffany box and opened it to find a silver necklace with a diamond encrusted 'J' on it.
"Oh my God, seriously?" I said. He took out the necklace and clasped it behind my neck. Once he was done I turned and lunged at him sitting on his lap and kissing his cheek multiple times.
"I love you so much." I smiled.
"You spoil me too much. I don't deserve it."I added.
"Are you kidding? You're my girl, you're mine and I love you." He said kissing just before my ear softly.
