When I wake up there is a letter perched up on my bedside table. I use my elbows to help lift myself and I find myself staring at the unopened letter. I picked it up and examined it ever so carefully. White envelope with a beautiful red sealing wax. On the front in green ink spelled:

Mr. J. DEMPSY,

6 Willow Avenue

West Cave

Chester

I carefully pulled the sealing wax off the envelope and unravelled the letter inside. Once again in beautiful green ink;

HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

(Order of Merlin, First class, Grand sorc..., Chf. Warlock, Supreme

Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Mr Dempsy,

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Yours sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall

Deputy Headmistress.

I must of re-read that letter at least seven times before it registered in my brain. This was all I ever wanted. It always seemed too good to be true though. Now I hold in my hands the reassurance I needed.

I raced downstairs to my Father, who has no idea in hell what any of it means. "Well done, I'm proud of you for getting in." he smiles but I just laugh at his attempt. I didn't expect him to be overly excited considering he wouldn't really know what's going on.

My mother would be thrilled, though. Times like now I really wish she was still here. She had died in a car crash only 3 years ago. Father and I never like to think about it much, usually by keeping ourselves busy and never talking about how sad it is that she's gone. We like to talk about our happy memories and enjoy reminiscing the time she was around. Obviously on a day like today it's much harder to not think about it.

From the living room I hear a rather static noise and I instantly know what it is. In the living room, behind the couch is where the large black walkie-talkie lay. I hold it close to my ear trying to get a stronger connection. A rather muffled voice comes from the other end.

"This is Ed to The Outsiders, say your name if you copy."

"Jess, copy." A high pitched voice rings my ears.

"Win, copy."

"Sting, copy." I press the side button, blocking out any noise, as I speak.

"Brilliant, meet at the common room in 15 to discuss further business, over and out." Ed says in his most business-like manner. That boy watches too much Tv.

I slip into more appropriate clothing and fold my letter into my trouser pocket. I rub a hand through my golden hair and left for the giant willow tree in the middle of the field. The field was big enough for the small town, witch carefully placed houses all around it. Fortunate for me, all my best friends live around the field.

West cave was a pretty peaceful place. Nothing crazy or weird ever really happens here. I'd say the craziest thing that happened here was when a zebra was loose from the zoo 3 years ago. The only thing it's really known for is its beautiful palace; tourists would come from all over the world to see its immense beauty. The architecture was beautiful and the exterior took up a good chunk of the tiny town.
