Chapter 22

Luke's pov

"... And don't you dare hurt her or I will kill you," Calum explained everything to me.
"I won't Calum," I groaned.
"Im serious Luke, don't even try. Don't take things too fast, don't push her into anything, don't pressure her, nothing," He went on.
"Okay, okay," I raised my hands in surrender.
"Do you understand?" He asked.
"Yes," I stated.
"Good," He said plainly.
I walked over to me and her's hotel room and fell back onto the bed next to her.
I blew a puff of air out of my mouth.
"Babe," I whispered.
"What?" She answered.
"Did you love Calum?" I asked.
"Yes," She sighed.
"Do you miss him?"
"A little," She shrugged.
"Do you feel guilty for leaving him?"
"Yeah," She stated.
"Do you want him back?"
"I wouldn't say I want him back, exactly, its just that I want to change the way I let him go. You know? Like let him off a little easier than I did," She breathed.
"I get it," I sighed.
"You seem sad," She stated.
"Well I just talked to Calum and he looks like he's been crying all day and he's miserable and I don't like it. You are his happiness. You're not mine, you're his and he's yours."
"Luke, I can't keep going back and forth, its hurting everybody and me. Its making us miserable. People can take so much before they break and I already broke Calum."
"And you're the only one who can fix him, he's never going to find another you. You're one of a kind and special to him. You're special to me too but you're Calum's. You belong to him."
"Are you breaking up with me?" She asked.
"Only if you want to."
"I don't know what I want."
"Do what you're heart is telling you. If you still love Cal then go to him. Don't make him miserable just because you're with me."
"Okay," She whispered and shut her eyes.
I kissed her nose.
"Go," I whispered almost inaudible.
She left.

Grace's pov

I knocked on Calums door.
I heard shuffling before the door opened. His hair was a mess, his eyes were red and sleep deprived, he sniffed a little.
"Sorry I look like this, you can come in," He sighed.
"Its fine, I wanted to talk to you."
"About what?"
"Us," I stated.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment before opening them.
"Go on."
"My heart still wants you, I can't stop thinking about you, I still love you."
"No you don't," His arms flung in the air, making me flinch.
"I do."
"No you dont. You're just messing with me. You dont love me," His voice was raised.
"Calum listen to-" I started.
"No! You're literally driving me insane because I love you so much. You left me for Luke! You can't just come walking back in like it didn't happen," He yelled and banged his head against the wall as if he was trying to get the thoughts out of his head.
I walked over to him and cupped his cheeks and pulled him away from the wall.
"Don't do that to yourself."
"I can't help it, you're driving me crazy," He said.
My hands were still cupping his cheeks and before I knew it, he pinned me to the wall.
His hands rested on my hips and rubbed gentle circles. He kissed my forehead, "Im sorry."
"Im sorry, everything that has happened to me lately has been so unreal and I don't know what's real and what's not anymore. I haven't been the same without you, i've been crying all day and missing you constantly and it's caused me so much pain. It's caused so much damage to know that you were with Luke and not me. I still loved you. I mean, I still do. I always have and always will and I can't believe I ever let you go. It was the dumbest thing i've ever done. Im just so stupid for doing this to you and putting us through all if this. You don't deserve any of it and Im so sorry for any pain that i've given you and I hope you know that, I really do mean it."
By this time I was crying at the fact that he just admitted everything to me, "I love you so much Calum, you're forgiven."
"I love you, Grace."
He wiped my tears and leaned in to kiss me. There was no hunger in our kiss, it was complete passion and love.
"I want you to know that I love you to pluto and back a million times and I'll never let you go again," He said, cupping my cheeks and looking straight into my eyes.
"I wouldn't let you let me go."
