CHAPTER 13✨DREAM COME TRUE

Clarisse's POV

In the morning, there is more joy in the part of me that peeks through the windows of my eyes. In the morning, there is more love awaiting a chance to jump into the air in that silent crackle we sense with our soul.

My consciousness was awakened by the sound of breathing that isn't mine. But a nudge to my ribs makes me jerk awake just to see Jasper's smiling face with his amusing dimple. I quickly covered my face with my palms, hiding my shy smile at him.

He went closer to me whispering, "I love watching you sleep. Listening to you breathe and reflect on how we got here..." He slowly put away my hands, exposing my face. "I must have done something just right to end up with you, Princess. Thank you!" He continued as he pecked a kiss on my cheek.

A smile suddenly grew from my lips, I just can't help his morning sweetness. Geez!

He sat on the bed as he guided me to get up too. "Sorry, Princess. I had to wake you up because we're gonna be late for work."

My eyebrows raised instantly, "Eh? You're going to work? How are you feeling right now?" I touched his forehead, gladly his temperature feels normal. "You should take a rest first, Jasper. Don't force yourself."

"I'm perfectly fine, Clarisse. No need to worry." He hugged me tightly while convincing me he's already feeling well. "See, I'm fine now." He uttered, then he slightly poked my side which made me jumped in shock.

"Geez, Jasper! Fine, you better prepare then." I gently pushed him out of the bed so he could start preparing.

"You're going with me, aren't you?" He asked while looking at me directly.

Almost everyday in the morning, I do the same thing. 'A cup of grande latte please'. But today it's somehow different because Jasper's here with me to order not to serve coffee for me.

Well, I would say this is a great headstart for today. The weather's just fine, not too sunny, not too cloudy. The coffee aroma added up a relaxing vibe in DD cafe. On the other hand, seeing Jasper drinks his coffee, somehow made me think that he could be a commercial coffee endorser.

"What are you thinking while looking at my handsome face, bella?" His voice was filled with confidence.

"Hmm, well I was thinking that you could possibly be an endorser someday." I winked at him as I shared my thought.

He chortled for a second, "Actually, I used to be an endorser before..."

"Woah, for real?" I asked full of amazement.

"Of course, in my dreams." He stick out his tongue, teasing me.

My expression quickly turned into a poker face. Fudge! He got me there. I kicked his foot under the table which made him twitch, stopping him from drinking.

"Peace yow!" I softly said, raising my peace sign fingers in front of him.

I really love teasing this man. He's like a baby who is being cutely triggered.

"Wait for my payback, bella." He stood up heading to me, "You'll surely scream in pleasure." He whispered smirking beside me.

I suddenly gulped and swallowed slowly with what he said. Is he frightening me?!

After we had our cups of coffee, we have decided to do our own stuff. So I came back home to check out some pending manuscripts that I got to approve before this week ends. I even took a nap before I prepared for our movie date today.
