I sat in the dressing room waiting for some kind of instructions before the photo shoot. This is what normally happens after school on Thursday's. I head over to the studio and sign in, then I wait for my stylist. After I'm all glammed up, I have a bunch of pictures taken of me, then I go home. All is well.
The door opened and Belle walked in and her lady following her. I smiled at both of them. "Chloe, this is the new stylist here. She's going to be my assistant for a while. Her name is Gabriella"
"Hello it's nice to meet you," I smiled and shook her hand. She had darker brown hair than Belle and tanner skin. She was obviously older than Belle too.
In no time we had our usual music blaring and I was getting my make up done while Gabriella prepared the outfit. After I had the proper make up and my hair was back combed into a poofy mess on my head, I stepped behind the curtain and pulled on the long silky black dress that went over one shoulder. It was very flowy. I did like it, but I don't think I would ever wear it. I slipped on the black heels that went with it and let Belle help me carry the dress out and into the "stage" as we call it.
Everyone was either running around or waiting for the people who weren't ready. It was the usual sight. "Can you answer any calls for me during the shoot?" I asked Belle as I held my phone out to her.
"Sure thing sweetie," she was smiling brightly at me while she helped me sit down on the white couch for the shoot.
"Alright, everyone! The photo's are starting! Places!" The camera man, Joe, started to yell, "I want no interruptions this time! No excuses!" I almost laughed at that. Last time some of the dogs got loose and we had people running all over to catch them. Needless to say, we are never going to use animals again.
I straightened myself and turned towards the camera. So many people like to watch my photo shoots because they say I'm one with the camera. Well it's like my best friend.
With my game face on, okay not really, it's just and expression. The flashes started to go off. Every once and a while, I changed positions or turned my gaze somewhere else. For the first hour, we had no interruptions.
"Change!" Joe shouted as I stood up and Belle came to help me to my dressing room. We have two outfits left. Gabriella on the other hand, was no where to be found.
"Any phone calls?" I asked her.
"Just your mother. She told me to tell you to call her before you leave the studio." She opened the dressing room door for me and I stepped in. Gabriella was holding was holding my next outfit. It happened to be a small silver dress. Strapless and would probably end mid-thigh. I actually loved the dress. It was so sparkly. I grabbed it and ran to change. I didn't even bother to take off my shoes.
After I had put the dress on, I sat my bum back into my styling chair. Belle started to smooth out my hair and pulled it up into a ponytail. Gabriella took off my other shoes and put different ones on. They added some sparkles to my makeup.
"Miss Palmer is needed on set." A man said from the doorway. Well he wasn't really a man.
I turned to look at him "I'll be there in a minute." Shit it's HIM. I narrowed my eyes at him as he seemed to look surprised.
Gabriella smiled at me, then him, "Chloe, this is my son, Tyler." Oh how nice.
I fake smiled at him." Yes we met earlier today." I stood from the chair and walked out the door past him. I really do hate him. Belle followed behind me. Well my day is officially ruined.
Tyler's P.O.V.
She walked past me out the door and Belle followed her. I caught her scent of strawberries and couldn't help but frown. Why did my mom have to work with her? Why did she force me to work here as well? I can't deal with being around the mate I couldn't have. I already have to go to school with her. Why here too?
My mother caught sight of my sudden mood change, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
She narrowed her eyes at me knowingly, "What's wrong Tyler?"
I sighed, "Chloe."
"What about her?" I'm going to end up telling her in the end, do might as well get it over and done with.
"She's my mate," I spoke quietly, but I knew she heard me.
She gasped, "Congratulations!" She squealed a little then came running to me. She pulled me into a hug.
"No," I pushed her away. "It's not good."
"Why not?" She asked with frustration.
I turned my face away from her so I couldn't see her reaction, "Her heart is already taken."
