PRESENT TIME.

12th of January, 20XX.

Week 1 of Therapy.

Friday, 12th of January. A blonde woman in her late twenties was seated in front of an oak wooden desk, furiously tapping her foot and glancing at her wrist watch.

"Where the hell is she?" The blonde woman muttered, anxiously scanning the small room. A few plaques of recognition and tons of family pictures, happily smiling can be seen hanging at the left side of the wall, an evidence of the people this person had helped in the past.

A few minutes has passed by and a clicking sound of the doorknob can be heard, a small brunette woman, also in her late twenties was panting as she slowly entered the room.

"Hey, I'm here." The woman looked at the back of the blonde woman seated, making the former turn to glare at her.

"You're late." She softly hisses.

"But I still don't see her yet." Argued the small woman who sat next to her.

"And what if she were on time then?" The blonde shot her brows up.

"Well she isn't Rosie, chill out." The brunette murmured.

"It's Friday, so I'm obviously busy.. Checking the necessary paperwork's needed."

"Enough with your excuses Jen, I was at work too but I came in five minutes early because unlike you, I know how to be on time."

"Hey, I already apologized. There's nothing more that I can do, why are you still mad? At least I'm here and I didn't ditch you despite my busy schedule." Jennie replied.

"Yeah right, do I need to be thankful for that?" Rosie rolled her eyes, making the brunette heave a sigh.

A few more minutes of waiting in deafening silence, and afterwards, came a woman in her late 50's, wearing a white coat and holding a few stacks of folders in her arms.

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, you must be the Kim's." The woman announced, not even bothering to look at the both of them before sitting on her chair.

"Yes, that's us." Jennie looked up to the professional woman with a smile on her face despite the latter not being able to see her.

"I'm Dr. Hee June Bang, a clinical psychologist and marriage expert and I will be your marriage counselor." The woman noted, scanning her folder with the details of the two.

She silently read their files before slowly looking up to them and gasped.

"Oh my..." The woman looked at them in surprise.

"You two looked so young, are you perhaps still dating?" The doctor asked.

"No ma'am, we're married." Rosie smiled.

"Oh, then are you newly married?" She further asked with a term she uses for the couples being married for just less than a year.

"No doctor, we've been married for four years now." Jennie smiled.

"Almost four years." The blonde woman corrected.

"Yeah, our 4 year anniversary will be this June." The brunette gave the doctor a small smile.

"And your marriage... is no longer working?" She asked with her brows raised in clarification.

"Yes." Rosie mumbled.
