Liam’s P.O.V.

“Liam! Good to see you again!” Caroline said as I approached the front desk at the hospital.

“Hello,” I greeted dully, “Is Dr. Mullard in? I really need to see him,”

“Yes! Let me go see if he has a free moment,” Caroline said as she stood and walked down the hall. A moment later she returned, a smile on her face. “William said he would love to see you. He has a free hour for dinner,”

“Thanks,” I smiled as I walked down the hall and knocked on the first door on the right.

“Come in!” William called. I opened the door and walked in. He was sitting in his recliner chair, eating out of a Chinese take-out box. “Have a seat Liam,”

I walked over to the couch and sat down.

“What brings you back so early?” He asked, chewing a bite of the noodles.

“I can’t do this anymore,” I shook my head, my body started shaking.

“Hey, hey, Liam,” William said, sitting forward and setting down his food, “Don’t talk like that. We had amazing progress last session, I know a lot about you now.”

“But I can’t stand this anymore. He won’t tell me,” I said.

“Who won’t tell you what?” William asked.

            “Niall,” I said.

“Oh, yes, your band mate. Wasn’t he the one that disappeared?”

            “Yeah,”

“Alright, last session you told me that you were in love with someone. Can I make a guess that you are in love with Niall?” William asked, looking at me. I froze. How did he guess that? He knew I was gay? I never told him about Niall before, had I?

“H-How d-did you k-know?” I stuttered as my shaking worsened.

            “Liam, why are you shaking?”

            “I-I don’t know,”

“Calm down, Liam, I think you are having a panic attack,” William said, standing up and walking over to me. “Breath, just breath,”

I curled up in a ball and closed my eyes taking deep breaths.
