I woke up next morning rather early, remembering that I promised Niall breakfast. Even though my limbs were entangled with his, I was able to remove myself from the bed without waking him somehow, and I threw on a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. I grabbed a room key and let myself wander the hotel hallways, trying to find the lobby, and perhaps the complimentary breakfast buffet. I would have just ordered room service, but Niall eats so much that the bill really adds up.

Down in the lobby, there was a long buffet bar with muffins, bacon, bagels, toast, pancakes, waffles, and much more. I smiled, knowing that Niall would love me. I grabbed two plates, both for Niall—I wasn’t really hungry—and I filled both of them with his favorites.

“That’s a lot of food,” A high pitch voice said from beside me. I glanced over and saw a girl, wearing an ‘I love 1D’ shirt.

            I smiled and nodded, “Niall,”

“Ah,” She smiled, “So he really eats as much as everyone says he does?” The girl asked.

“Yeah, I guess,” I said, trying to keep the situation simple. I didn’t want to be mauled by fans so early in the morning.

“Will you sign something for me?” She asked. Her calm demeanor was actually scaring me. Normally fans were much crazier.

“Uh yeah, I guess, but please don’t make a scene out of this, it’s too earlier in the morning,” I said.

She didn’t answer, she just pulled out a poster of me and put it in my hands. I was confused and surprised that she happened to have a poster with her.

“I’m the head of the One Direction fan club at my school,” She smiled. I nodded, still thinking that something was going on here.

Suddenly, she waved her hand in the air, and a mass of girls came running into the hotel lobby. I groaned and looked at her with pleading eyes. She just smiled and shrugged. I grabbed the plates of food and ran upstairs, wanting to get back to Niall before it got cold and to avoid the fans. Luckily, I was able to get onto the elevator before any of the girls could join me. The doors closed and the elevator moved upwards. I sighed, shaking my head. Sometimes I wish that our fans were normal. I had to admit though, I loved them anyway. The elevator doors opened and I headed towards the end of the hall. Then there was a squeal behind me. The fans must have taken the stairs. I admired their determination, I knew what running up nine flights of stairs felt like.

I ran towards the door and slid the key in, trying my best to not spill Niall’s food. I got inside and slammed the door, loud enough to wake Niall.

“Are you okay?” He asked groggily, as he sat up and wiped his eyes. I breathed deeply and nodded. Screams and banging came from the other side of the door.

“Fans,” I explained simply. He smiled and nodded. “I got you food,” I continued, setting the plates down on the side table next to the bed. Niall smiled at me and then leaned forward, kissing my cheek, before grabbing the fork and diving in. I sat next to him and watched him eat.

“Aren’t you going to eat too?” He questioned, pointing to the second plate of food.

“No, that’s for you too,” I chuckled. Niall’s face lit up like a little kid’s face on Christmas, and he pulled the second plate closer, stuffing his face.
