Lyle's POV
Surprisingly, the day turned out pretty good after that. I mean, if they wanted to come at me, they would either get strangled to death, get punched by Malcolm, or get ran over by Chelsea's car. I'm glad they're smart.
Chelsea decided that we go to the mall to release some stress but Malcolm immediately said "Hell no. The mall turns into torture when I'm with you guys." So we're the only ones that went.
"What do you want for your birthday this weekend?" She asked me as we strolled around the mall.
"Surprise me with your oh so great mind." I joked and she thought for a moment.
"How about a dildo?" She said and I squinted my eyes before hitting her with my bag.
"If you get me that, I will shove it down your throat." I threatened her and she laughed at me.
"Anyway, what are you going to get for yourself?" She raised her brows at me and smiled enthusiasticly.
"I think I'm gonna go check out some clothes and shoes." I told her and we went inside Gucci. We immediately got assisted by the saleslady as we browsed through the clothes.
"Can I help you with something?" She eyed us up and down and judged us by what we wore. Luckily, my outfit for the day was a faded light blue ripped jeans and I partnered it with a black long sleeves and boots, while Chelsea wore her denim pants, partnered with a white shirt that was tucked underneath her brown coat, and she wore the brown boots I gifted her.
"No thanks, we're good. We'll call you if we need something." I told her and she hesitantly went back to her post. Ugh, humans and their incapability to not judge people by what they wear.
"Doesn't she know that your mother is business partners with the Brand's owner?" Chelsea asked in a hushed voice while laughing.
"Mom likes to keep a low profile, but when the situation calls for it, she meets with the humans." I said and she nodded her head while looking at the clothes.
"Oh, Lyle?" I raised my brows as I looked at her and picked up the white shirt printed with the Gucci logo in it.
"How did you learn the move that you used on that guy yesterday?" She tilted her head to the side while looking at the white dress she has in her hand.
"Oh that chokehold? I learned some judo in Italy but I only reached brown belt which is a level lower than black." She snapped her head at me and placed the dress back in the rack.
"A what now? And why didn't you tell us you learned some sick moves in Italy??" I laughed at her and we continued to browse through the clothes.
"Mom suggested it since I'm small and I don't have Muscles. It will take people off guard if they mess with me. I only use it for self defense though." I said and looked at the light pink leather horsebit loafer that caught my eyes.
"That would look really fucking good on you." Chelsea said as she widened her eyes at the shoes.
"I know right? Should I get it?" I chrirped happily.
"Um, excuse me? But that costs a fortune, and I think you should put it back." The saleslady ridiculed and we raised our brows at her and cocked our hips to the side.
"We know how much it costs, there's a price tag. See?" Chelsea shot back irritatedly while flaunting the tag at the lady.
"I know what you youngsters do these days. You're just going to look at it and say you're gonna buy it, but when you see the price you put it back and take a picture of it." She stated in an I-know-it-all tone. I scoffed at her and took a step forward.
