Lyle's POV

After the talk with my brothers, things were going pretty well these days. Except for the fact that I still remember absolutely nothing when I was drunk.

"Come on guys! This is literally killing me. Give me something, anything, to help kickstart my memory!" I pleaded to Malcolm and Chelsea while we were walking down the stairs, on the way to the parking lot.

School just ended and I wasn't grounded anymore since the month has finished.

"As much as we want to help you, we can't do anything. We weren't exactly there when it happened." Chelsea pointed out as she fixed her hair.

"When I opened the bathroom, I saw you looking like you made out with an octopus or something." Malcolm said and furrowed his brows, recalling the scene. He pulled me closer to him and I smiled at his small gesture.

"This is getting me nowhere, I need to use the restroom for a bit." I told them and Handed them my bag.

"Be careful with my baby." I warned them and slid my thumb across my throat. They chuckled and swore to protect it with their life.

When I got to the nearest bathroom, it was under maintenance. So I went to the bathroom at the other end of the hall. On my way there, I saw Isaac putting his books inside his locker. I called out to him and he instantly panicked, but relaxed when he saw it was me.

"Jeez, chill! it's just me." I slightly laughed and elbowed him on the side. Isaac and I became good friends ever since I transferred here. He was still afraid of people and always on the lookout, but I didn't ask the reason why. Maybe it was too personal. His stuttering improved because I always rambled to him about everything.

"O-Oh, Hi Lyle!" He smiled, showing his perfect teeth. He was actually good looking when his eyes weren't always staring at the ground.

"Where are you going?" He asked and fixed his glasses.

"Just the bathroom. The other one was under maintenance, so I'm going to the one at the end of the hall." I replied.

"Oh wait, let me go with you." I nodded my head and he quickly finished putting his things inside his locker.

When we got to the bathroom, I tried to open the door but it was locked. I groaned and banged on the door.

"Let's just go to the other one." Isaac suggested but I was having none of it. I banged the door multiple times and it finally opened, revealing a pissed off Adrian.

"What?!" He  demanded in his deep masculine voice. He looked at me and confusion swirled in his eyes at my neutral face. The other guys with him came into view. Isaac's eyes widened and clutched on the side of my shirt tightly.

"Well, I need to use the fucking bathroom and you guys are hogging it all to yourselves. What are all of you doing there? Comparing your small dicks?" I replied and folded my arms across my chest. He looked at me annoyed, but when his eyes turned to Isaac, he rose a brow.

"Well, why don't you use the girls' bathroom? You're gay right?" He asked mockingly.

"Let him in Adrian, we'll treat him real good." The guy behind him said and winked at me. Something tells me Adrian didn't like the sound of that, but he decided to let it go.

"And also... Ask nerdy here why you wouldn't want to piss me off. I'm sure his ribs still remember." He finished and the guys behind him snickered. My eyes widened and I turned to look at Isaac. Fear was evident in his eyes, but he chose to stay with me . That's why he always avoids people.

I grew angry, now understanding his reason. I couldn't stand people who rejoiced in other people's suffering and weaknesses. That's why I don't show my weakness and my tears ever since I left for Italy. I needed to be strong.
