Lyle's POV

"Malcolm, this joke isn't funny." I squirmed in his hold and I tried to fight him off when he licked my neck.

I was suddenly pried apart from him with a strong force and next thing I knew, he was sent flying backwards and Adrian grabbed him by the collar. Adrian growled dangerously at him and bared his canines.

"You both need to leave! Hurry!" Mom commanded and pulled Adrian's arm to get his attention.

Dad led us to the car and multiple howls were heard coming towards our direction.

"Here, take him. You need to leave before they get to Lyle. Go!" Dad instructed and transferred me to Adrian's arms.

As soon as Adrian settled me in the passenger seat, I moaned and shuddered when the cold leather touched my skin.
