(8 days pass since the grave)

Jim was out on a beach with Alex. After the grave incident, nothing strange had happened to them or generally in the camping and everyone was back enjoying their last days of summer.

"So you're leaving so soon?" Alex asked. "Sadly yes. My parents are starting work on Monday and also the camping is shutting down, we will stay until Sunday, have fun in the fair and on Monday morning we will have already left," "so it's just three more days..." Alex said with a sigh.

"It's not the end of the world. We have bought a house here, remember, also you're coming to the city this fall, aren't you?" Jim said, cheering his friend up. "About that, my family found an apartment in your neighbourhood, so I guess we will become neighbours pretty soon," Alex said excitedly. "So you don't have to worry about anything, you'll just have to wait a month until schools open."

They got into the crystal water and swam to the deep. "Hey look who's there Jim, it's Nadia. She seems like she has noticed us..." Alex said smiling. "Oh fuck," Jim thought. With everything happening so fast for the last few days he had forgotten to text her. "This isn't going to end well..." he said as she was swimming towards them.

"Hey, Nad..." "YOU SHUS" Nadia shouted splashing some water angrily at Alex. "As for you..." she said turning to Jim. "You're just like everybody else," she wasn't just mad, she was furious. "Give me one good reason not to drown you"

"Nadia I am sorry, but it's not what it seems, a lot has happened that you didn't know. I forgot to text you back and after that, I was so embarrassed to send you anything. I'm really sorry," Jim said in an apologetic tone. "Fair enough. If you tell me what has happened the days you vanished," Jim preferred to be drowned by himself instantly than trying to explain that story.

...

"You know you're not that good at lying..." she said as Jim finished telling the story. They were now on the beach, for Jim's safety. "Believe me or not, it really doesn't matter. What I want to know is if you have forgiven me," Jim said. "I guess I have," Nadia said with a small sigh, "I thought you just had abandoned me. So, I need someone to accompany me to the fair this Sunday, are you in."

"I'll be there, and don't worry I'll text you for details, promise," he said laughing as Nadia left him and Alex alone. "Well played dude, well played" Alex whispered as she left. "So what now?" Jim asked. "Let's just have fun until you have to leave and find out how you will manage to sleep with Nadia until Sunday," "Wow chill bro, I don't want that, it's too fast," Jim said, backing Alex down. "Okay then, just kiss her I guess..." Alex said raising his shoulders

...

Jim had put on his best clothes, a pair of jeans, his favourite white vans and a random shirt and had closed the door of his trailer. Everyone was going to the festival, so Jim was going with his parents like everybody else. "Ugh, last night here, this month passed by so fast," Jim's father said from the wheel. "I guess next year we'll be staying on a nice house by the beach..." he continued talking. "I'll miss the camping though," his mother that sat next to him added.

Jim zoned out in the backsit. All that he really cared at that moment was Nadia. He still thought that this was all just a big prank, that a girl so wonderful wouldn't even notice a guy like him, but now he was going to meet her at 8:30 in the village square.

The festival was pretty neat like every year. A band playing traditional songs and people dancing, many, many people selling anything you could imagine. From stands with candy, to shoes, paintings of the virgin mary and hundreds of other things. Jim found his friends at the very back of the church and stayed with them.

After the ceremony was over, everyone got out and started walking towards the food trucks and stands that were all around the church. "Oh shit, its 8:20, I'm gonna go guys, I have to go and find someone," Jim said looking at his watch. "We too..." Luke said. "Alex and I promised the girls that we will go to the festival together."

"Before you two leave," Nick said. "Meet me at the camping's beach, in front of the gate, at 1:15, with some warm clothes." The other two nodded in agreement and they all parted ways.

Jim was biting his nails from nervousness, until he saw the sight of Nadia appearing at the edge of the square. "You look fancy," Jim noticed as he felt stupid that he wore so casual clothes, unlike her. "Thanks," she said and hugged him tight, "so shall we go and see whats new in the festival this year, I heard that they brought games too..." she said, grabbed Jim's hand and started pulling him, smashing threw the crowd.

They found themselves throwing balls in some holes, trying to win a stuffed bee. Nadia's laugh was so beautiful, Jim though as he was gazing at her. "Jim, snap out, we're losing the bee," Nadia said, as she threw another ball in the hole. Jim blushed from embarrassment and continued the game.

"If it wasn't for me we would have lost," Nadia said proudly as she was holding the stuffed bee in her one hand and a bag of popcorn in the other. "Forget it, I scored more balls than you," Jim said laughing. Nadia looked around the crowded street and then turned to face Jim. "I think we should go somewhere quiet"

They reached a small courtyard, behind two houses, with many plants and flowers, on the edge of it was a short white stone wall. With the sea for a background. The moon was melting in the calm waters and the trees underneath them were slowly rustling. "So wait, you want to..." Jim asked, realising what was going to happen. "yes" Nadia said calmly as they had climbed on the top of the wall, "Me?" he asked shocked, "yes" "but..." "just don't ask so many questions,"

Nadia said and dived in Jim's mouth, her kiss was soft and passionate at the same time, making Jim respond back. "So that means..." "that I like you Jim," Nadia finished the sentence. "I still can't believe it" "Jim, you know, you have to put some more faith in yourself and find out how amazing you are," Nadia said and immediately Jim kissed her back.

After all the self-dissaproval, the low self esteem, the image problem and everything that made him struggle, Jim just let everything go, placed it in a bag and threw it away. He returned to the trailer around midnight, opened his bag and took out a notebook. This was his biggest secret, he had written all of his fears and bad thoughts and opened it to the last written page, he took a pen and wrote with clean capital letters Today, I am fine.
