Chapter 2: Married Malfoy - Year 3
A million thoughts were flying through your head at the moment. All the more it didn't help that Draco was staring hard at you when the two of you were being escorted down the hallways. While professor Trelawney stayed with her divination class (to hopefully clear up all their questions), Flitwick, Snape, and McGonagall made their way towards Dumbledore's office. You were clearly in a state of shock and looked like you saw the devil himself as you watched the griffin stairs move closer and closer.
After the agonizing walk, you and Draco were pushed into the headmaster's office, it wasn't where you expected yourself to be in so early in the day. You reluctantly lifted your head to glance around the big room; there were dozens of floating books stationing themselves into the shelves, as well as a mahogany desk cluttered with paperwork. Draco looked uneasy, the way he scanned his surroundings with a scowl on his face was enough for you to know that he had never really been in this room before.
With Professor Flitwick reassuring you that everything would be okay and Professor Snape sarcastically telling Draco he shouldn't worry, both of you still looked anxious. You wondered why your respective professors showed up; maybe it was because you needed their support? Well, who wouldn't? Today's lesson replayed in your head nonstop, it was almost unbelievable. You prayed that you were experiencing some sort of nightmare. Draco Malfoy, out of all people, will become your husband?! You almost wanted to fight your future self.
"Ah, Miss [L/N] and Mister Malfoy, why are you two in my office?" Dumbledore greeted the two of you when he walked into the office. His robe dragged behind him as he gently combed his long, grey beard. You almost gulped at the sight of him, seeing your headmaster address you so casually made you nervous.
Professor McGonagall explained the events for you, "During their divination class, they spoke with a student from the future. His name was Augustus Malfoy, the son of both [Y/N] and Draco. Trelawney is tying up loose ends as we speak, no one should know about this. We came here to ask what would be the best way to handle this situation."
Hearing those words made you cringe, you clearly didn't want to remember what happened. Draco was also looking dreadfully uncomfortable as well, being surrounded by his professors, especially Snape breathing down on his neck, was enough for Draco to become embarrassed.
"Oh, now that's something you don't hear every day." Dumbledore hummed in amusement before mumbling to himself. "Perhaps a simple Obliviate spell would do the trick?"
"Headmaster, please tell me this is some kind of joke!" You interrupted because you couldn't handle the awkward tension hanging in the air. The professors didn't look bothered, while you, on the other hand, were red-faced, shaken up, and a stuttering mess. "I still don't understand! Why did that guy call me his mum?! I'm only thirteen!"
Professor Flitwick gestured his hands to make you lower your voice, "It will be alright, my dear. We understand that this news is quite a shock to you."
Draco was also unsettled by the way the professors were being nonchalant, "You expect me to believe that I'm his father? I don't even know if I want to have children!"
Professor Snape made an audible groan of annoyance, "Trust me, Malfoy. No one here expected it either..."
Draco fumed, "But-!"
You began to squeal in disgust, "How could I-?!"
Professor McGonagall wanted order in the office, "Please, calm down-"
"Why would I ever marry Draco Malfoy-[Y/N] [L/N]?!" Your names were mushed together as the two of you exclaimed in embarrassment.
Although Professor McGonagall was usually strict about the behaviour of her students, her expression softened the slightest as she looked at each of you, "I'm sorry but it is reality, that was your future son you just saw. It would be best to accept it and come to terms as to who your spouse will be."
