Chapter 13: Obliviate Overdose - Year 4

"What happened?! Where am I?!" Draco jolted awake, eyes snapping open after feeling something tap his forehead. He looked around frantically, clearly confused from the lack of context.

A few moments ago, he was dragging you by the hand as an attempt to head back inside the school. Everything went black when a person dressed in all dark cloak swooped out of nowhere and cast an unknown charm. Now, Draco was being held down on a table without physical restraints in the potions classroom.

"You fainted from shock," Professor Snape answered nonchalantly, dumping God knows what into a steaming cauldron. "You're safe, so stop struggling."

"Wait! Where is [Y/N]?!" Draco demanded angrily, his fists clenching tightly. "If you don't tell me what's happening, I'll tell my father, then you'll lose your job."

"Miss [L/N] is the divination classroom," The man stirred whatever potion was brewing in the pot. "And trust me, mister Malfoy, it wasn't my idea to kidnap the two of you."

Draco still had no clue what was going on, and every time Snape answered his question it only spawned ten more. The student let out a heavy sigh after trying to sit up straight on the table, finding it useless to even lift up his head.

Giving up, Draco turned his face to the side and in between his white bangs, he saw a familiar person leaning against the wall with their arms crossed over their chest. Squinting his eyes, Draco automatically knew who it was and started to ponder aloud.

"Augustus, I thought you said you were going to stop seeing us?" Draco tensed up a little when the other boy pushed himself off the wall and walked towards the table. The look on his face was very distant as he glared down, then the evil expression dropped.

"Ahaha! Well, long story short, after my two weeks of detention, I decided to come back because my future-self told me that something happened!" Augustus played it off as some kind of joke not to worry Draco. "Apparently I messed up again. Whaha!"

Augustus was laughing even though he looked like he was ready to kill someone. He was trying so hard to not make a scowl on his face. Draco was still confused and the other boy cleared his throat to cease his pain-filled laughter.

"What's with the outfit? You look like you went through Snape's wardrobe." Draco commented impulsively and the professor huffed in annoyance.

Augustus' eye twitched slightly, "I needed a disguise to use the mirror in the Divination classroom, in my present. They wouldn't allow me to go alone anymore... And no, I stole this from my brother."

"Hmm..." Draco sighed thoughtfully, then looked away smugly. "Well, you shouldn't have gotten caught then."

"Ah! I hate it whenever you say that!"

"This is the first time I'm telling you this-"

"Mister Malfoy," Snape bellowed sharply and both Draco and Augustus turned their heads. "Please focus."

Draco furrowed his eyebrows in annoyance, "I would like to be released from whatever charm you put on me, right now! I have no idea what you guys are doing - probably some stupid project! Just let me go so I can take back [Y/N]! And why do you need her anyway-?!"

Irritated, Augustus fired back, "Well, if you would only listen to me, we wouldn't have to hold you down like this! You wouldn't stop fighting back! I'm going out of my way to help all of you because you don't understand the amount of danger you're in! I have been through hell and back trying to save both of your asses!"

"How dare you talk to me like that! Don't forget, I'm way older than you - so, I expect you to respect me!"

"I don't give a shit anymore, I'm pissed! I have been hopping from one alternate reality to another, making sure that every little thing was aligned properly - I even threw up somewhere back in 1991! I'm exhausted and hungry and overall traumatized by all the stuff that's going to happen soon!"
