"Chapter 2 Who am I?"

After what happened Mayumi could not control her anger and fear at the same time after what happened. Mayumi already left early for school with a bad mood. "Why me, " Mayumi said while walking in an angry voice.

Then she passed by a closed area then "Because it's who you are " Mayumi stopped and her eyes shaking with what she heard, she looked back and saw an old man looking down.

The old man was wearing a blue polo with a brown jacket and black pants with brown flops.

Mayumi looks at the old man "Who are you ?" she asked with a curios strong voice. "No, the question is who are you ?" The old man said happily, Mayumi confused and decide to face to him. "It is nice to meet you again Mayumi," He said

"You're the old man that passed by me when I heard your footsteps, " Mayumi said in a confused calm way

"You think fast, just like your mother," he said calmly

"How do you know my mother and my mother doesn't think fast it takes her 2 minutes to think," she said

"Oh, " the old man said then he laughed "What's funny?" Mayumi said in an irritated voice. "Oh dear she's not your mother," The old man said kindly.

"You must be talking to the wrong Mayumi sir the woman on my house is my mother, " she said in a confused way. "Well she is your normal mother in this world but you have a real mother waiting for you to know the truth," The old man said wisely. "Well sir you might be a psychopath on the loose so I will just get my phone "Mayumi said while taking her phone from her bag

She holds her phone on her right hand then suddenly the old man points his to fingers at Mayumi and swipes it

The phone of Mayumi slides off her hand and the phone falls to Mayumi's left. Mayumi face was calm

and angry even do inside she was shocked "You should be thankful dear that I saved you from that car," the old man said dangerously. "who are you " and she looks at the eye of the old man that the old man could see his reflection in her eyes.

The old man was shocked when he did a daunting smile at Mayumi. " Your a brave little girl as always"

The old man said in a petrifying way.

"So what type of person like you want ?"

She said in a calm dangerous way, "I want to show you who you are" he said calmly. Mayumi was shocked but willing at the same time. "How ? " she asked. "Hold my hand dear and you will see, " the old man said while holding his hand up for Mayumi to hold.

Mayumi was scared but she wanted to know because of the things that were happening, she decided to hold the hand of the old man.

When she touched the hand of the old man they were at a river that was beautiful and peaceful with green trees and open skies, she was standing up in the middle of away and decided to walk that way...

"Dear this is not like dreams where you follow the path," The old man said loudly. Mayumi looks back and see's the old man sitting on a rock sipping tea

Mayumi goes near the old man.

"Come dear take a seat here on the ground, " He said wisely. Mayumi sits down near the old man. "Do you know what this river is called ?" he asked peacefully then takes a sip of his tea. "I'm not sure, " she said in a confused way while looking side by side at the river.

The old man sips his tea again "This is the river of memory, one touch of the river's water you will remember your lost memories but one swim or one whole dip of your hand in this river may cause you trauma" He said
