"What has gotten into you?" Ada asked, scrunching her nose.

Ever since Ada came, Imari has been smiling nonstop. She would've let it slide but she's not Ada if she's not annoying, now is she?

"Or should I say, who has gotten you?" Ada smirked when she saw Imari blushed.

Imari rolled her eyes before biting her lower lip. "You know.."

Ada hummed as she turned around to face Imari after applying her mascara.

"You know Beau, right?" Imari confessed.

Imari saw how her friend's jaw dropped. "You mean.." Ada trailed. She knew it!

"Yes," Imari said.

"Damn. I knew it! I just knew it!" Imari's brow shot up questioningly. "Duh! I saw how the way you look at the guy, you look like an inlove fool."

"I'm not a fool," Imari grumbled.

"I saw you learning sign languages when I visited you last time, you know. " Ada replied knowingly. "Remember when Justin-"

"Ada," Imari said with a warning tone. "I don't want to hear his name."

She doesn't want to hear the name Justine nor she wants to do anything with him. He was called a past for a reason.

"We don't talk about those kinds of people." Imari pursed her lips.

Ada sighed. "I'm sorry. Anyway, aren't you excited?"

"No. You begged me to accompany you to this stupid party." Imari answered.

Ada shook her head while smiling. "Oh, Imari. You'll thank me later."

Okay now that got Imari's interest. She has no idea where they are going.

Ada just told her they're going to attend some party. Aside from that, her friend didn't clarify if it's a party party or a formal party.

And clear to say, they did attend the latter.

"Whose house is this?" Imari asked when she saw the huge yet comfortable looking mansion.

"Torricelli's," Ada replied while grinning.

Imari had no time to react when she saw Beau walk out of the house to greet them.

Oh, so he's loaded. Imari thought to herself. No wonder the cashier guy last week looks bluffing. Beau looked like a rich gentleman to begin with.

'How have you been?' Beau asked.

Imari hid her smile, knowing she can now understand what Beau wants to say.

"I'm doing fine. How are you? I missed you!" Imari rolled her eyes when Ada hugged Beau before turning to her and pointing on his direction with her mouth.

"I'll be going inside, okay? I'll catch up with you love birds later!" Ada laughed as she turned away.

Imari felt how she blushed. She turned her gaze to Beau and saw him staring at her.

Imari never felt so conscious of her body but the way he looked at her makes her all giddy inside. She was wearing a white fitted dress that emphasizes her curves.

'Hi,' Imari started with sign language. She wants him to know that she can understand him now.

Beau felt a thug on his heart. 'You look beautiful.'

'So are you,' Imari replied with a blush.

'I can still understand you when you talk, you know.' Beau said, soft heartedly.

Imari grinned before nodding her head. "I know. I just want to talk to you in your own amazing way."

Beau grinned softly at her before slipping his arms around her waist.

'I hope I'm not making you uncomfortable.' Beau said.

Imari shook her head before leaning her body on his. She felt the warmth of Beau's body against hers, making her face redden even more.

The two of them walked inside the house and let their body language speak for them throughout the whole night.
