Cherri opened the door before engulfing Imari in a tight embrace. Beau stood behind Imari as he extended the flowers and cake he bought for Imari's family.

'Good afternoon, ma'am.' Beau greeted Cherri as Imari stepped back.

"Is this him?" Cherri asked Imari in astonishment as she received the offerings.

Imari bit her lower lip before nodding her head, clearly nervous what her mom's reaction would be.

"Oh! You're lovely!" Cherri exclaimed before she stopped. She cleared her throat before doing sign language. 'You're lovely.'

Imari groaned as Beau laughed silently. "Mom! I told you he can understand you."

Cherri grinned. "I know, honey. I just want him to be comfortable and welcome in our home."

The old woman engulfed Beau in a tight embrace as she patted his back. "Such a handsome young man."

Imari blushed when she met Beau's gaze who was grinning at her.

Beau didn't expect for them to be this welcoming, especially on how Imari was fidgeting the whole ride before they got here.

"Let's go inside!" Cherri said and all of them entered the house.

The smell of meatballs and spaghetti aroma made Beau hungry. It was his favorite and of course, Imari knew that. That's why she requested for her mom to cook her famous spaghetti meatballs.

"Hey sis," A voice behind them called. "I missed you!"

Imari turned around before smiling widely. "Christine! It's been months since I last saw you!"

Christine, Imari's sister, rolled her eyes. "I came home last week from my business trip. I guess you were quite.. busy because I tried calling you." Her sister said in a teasing tone.

Imari grinned before she entwined her fingers with Beau. "Baby, this is Christine, my older sister. This is Beau, my boyfriend."

Christine chuckled softly when Beau extended his hand. She shook her head as she hugged Beau lightly. 'Welcome to the family!'

Beau's heart got even warmer.

Imari told them that Beau was mute and her family decided to learn sign language before he met them. Imari spoke highly about Beau, making the two women excited to meet this amazing guy Imari kept on talking about.

At first, they were hesitant and worried about Imari meeting someone. However, as Imari got the courage and decided to tell her family about Beau, they were beyond happy for her.

'I was planning on taking you out guys for a vacation.' Beau said.

They were all seated in the dining area, a happy atmosphere lingers in the room.

Christine frowned. "As much as I would love to, I got another business trip, this one's a special client."

"You can't take a day off or something?" Imari slightly pouted.

Beau glanced at her and bit his lip.

Cute. He thought.

Christine sighed. "Unfortunately, my new client is strict as hell. I think from what I heard, he is quite famous and is a CEO of his own company."

Cherri looked at Christine with worrieness. "Will you be okay?"

Christine nodded her head before chuckling. "He's just one hell of a client, mom. Nothing I can handle."

"How about we just have family dinner with the Torricellis before Christine leaves for her trip?" Cherri suggested.

Beau nodded his head before smiling. 'I think my family would love that.'

When the day ended, the two of them got home and were cuddled up inside Imari's apartment.

'I love you.' Beau signed, looking at her directly.

Imari felt her heart warmed. "You were saying that since we left home." She said, smiling.

Beau nodded as he brushed her hair and tucked it behind Imari's ear. 'I know.. you just make me so happy. And even without words, I want you to know that I love you and how much you mean to me.'

Imari grinned before she moved closer to Beau. "You smell nice.."

Beau hugged her waist and pulled her even more close, the tip of their nose touching.

Their lips met in a sweet kiss, feeling the raw emotions connect the two of them.

Heavy breathing, hooded eyes and contentment plastered across their face as they let their whole being connect them.
