'Ready?' Beau asked across the room.

"What if they won't like me?" Imari asked nervously.

'Imari..' Beau stood up before walking towards her. He stood behind Imari's back before wrapping his arms around her.

Imari instantly calmed down, feeling the warmth of Beau. Funny how only one touch of this man can make her heart go crazy.

'Don't be nervous,' He told her, looking straight into her eyes through the mirror. 'You're amazing. My family would definitely love you, trust me.'

Imari smiled before shaking her head. She turned around before wrapping her arms around Beau. "Do you really think so?"

Beau nodded. 'If the word amazing is a human, it would be you.'

Imari bit her lip. Her heart beats a thousand after hearing what he said. She can see in his eyes the sincerity and.. love?

They have been going out for months now yet none of them go near the L word.

Imari understands, because she also wants to take this slow. This magical, heavenly feeling when she's around Beau, she wants to savor every moment and feeling when he's with her.

Imari never felt this with her past lover. Maybe because she was so focused on seeing the positive traits with Justine that she never realized how badly she was treated, not until she saw in her own eyes the way Justine kissed someone when she's not around him.

She was so devastated. However with Beau, she felt comfortable, she felt loved, confident and finally enough for someone. He did that to her.

'Let's go, mom's excited to see you.' Beau nudged her softly before kissing her head.

They walked outside the apartment and got into Beau's car. When the both of them were seated, Beau turned to her before entwining their hands. He smiled at her before kissing the back of Imari's hand.

The drive to Torricelli Residence was short. They were greeted with a maid outside.

The maid led the two inside the dining. "Beau! You're already here." A woman's voice said.

Beau smiled before kissing her mother's head. 'Mom, this is Imari. Imari, this is my mom.'

Imari instantly smiled on how welcoming Beau's mother was. "Good evening, Mrs. Torricelli. A pleasure to finally meet you."

"Beau! I love her already. How come you still haven't asked her to be your girlfriend?" Cynthia, Beau's mother, asked.

Imari blushed while Beau only shook his head while smiling. 'Mom, don't spoil.'

Imari felt the smile creeping up on her face but she controlled it. She doesn't want to think too much about what Beau said. If he wants to take it slow, then so does she.

The dinner went pretty well with Beau's parents. His father, Joaquin, was a very nice man. Now she knew where he got the chivalry vibe from. The father and son almost looked the same, from the face to their personality.

"I'm sorry Bettina wasn't here, they are still in Spain from their honeymoon." Cynthia chuckled. She was pertaining to Beau's sister who just got married recently.

Imari laughed because the newly wed are certainly enjoying their time with each other.

"Those two are insatiable." Joaquin jokes.

Chorus of laughter boomed the entire evening and a permanent grin was plastered across Beau's face.

After dinner, Imari bid her farewell. Mr. and Mrs. Torricelli obviously loved her and that makes Imari more than happy.

Beau guided her back onto his car. The drive to her apartment was quiet, but it was comfortable.

When Imari was at her door, Beau grabbed her hand making her turn on him.

'I enjoyed the night with you,' Beau looked at her admiringly. 'You were amazing out there.'

Imari grinned softly before hugging him. "Come inside?" She whispered.

Beau only nodded before letting the woman drag him inside.

They were having a coffee on Imari's couch and a small occasional talk when Beau suddenly turned to her.

'It's been months since we met, I'm happy you gave me a chance to spend that special night with you. I want to take this slow yet I also don't want to waste any time because I would be the happiest if you were going to be mine. You're the most amazing woman I've met, well apart from my mother and sister,' The both of them chuckled but Imari got tears in her eyes. 'I love you, I really do. And I want to be able to call you mine. Will you be my girlfriend, Imari?'

Imari sobbed out of happiness before she could finally utter her words. "Ofcourse, I would love to. I love you so much you have no idea."

Imari straddled Beau as they hugged each other. Beau rocked them softly back and forth as he rubbed Imari's back and kissed her head from time to time.

"I love you," Imari said, voice full of love and genuinity. "I love you, Beau."

Beau pulled her back so she was able to see him. 'I love you more, Imari.'

And even without his voice, Imari can hear the scream of his love for her making her heart happy.
