7. Nutella Pancakes
Ashton's POV
How was I supposed to tell her what was happening? Keeping this from her had been eating me alive, she had a right to know what had happened in the states. But I couldn't bring myself to bring it up, or even think about it.
Keeping the secret of why I left for the states is hard enough, adding what happened while I was in the states was enough to push me over the edge.
Like last week.

Maine, United States"So, what's this called again?" I stare at the container of brown spread in confusion
She giggles and takes the container from me, dipping her finger in it and liking it off, "Nutella!" She licks her lips and turns back to the stove, flipping a pancake with her spatula.
I walk up to her and steal the container back, "Is it edible?" I scrunch my face together as I sniff the contained item.
She laughs and turns my way, whipping the spatula around as she talks, "If it wasn't edible I would be lying on the floor dead Ash. Try it!"
I chuckle and walk up from behind her, putting the Nutella on the counter beside her. I wrap my arms around her skinny body and lay my hand on top of hers, flipping the pancake with her, "I can do that later." I kiss her cheek and rest my head on top of hers. She was short enough for me to see over the top of her head.
She chuckles and bites her lip, tucking her loose blonde hair strand behind her ear, "Just help me make these pancakes you weirdo." Her American accent couldn't get any cuter. She turns behind me and puts plates on the table, leaving me to tend to the pancakes.
I see the Nutella container vanish beside me, and I know the culprit is her. She loves her sweets.
I turn around to playfully scold her but she's already standing directly behind me, with a blob of Nutella sitting on her fingertip. She cheekily smiled and licked it off her finger, staining her perfect red lips with brown.
I smile at the beautiful girl standing in front of me, "here let me get that." Before she said another word I planted my lips onto hers, tasting the sweet spread that was on her lips.
Our lips move in synch for a few glorious moments until she pulls away smiling, "Wow, that was pretty good." I say putting emphasis throughout my sentence. She chuckles as her cheeks show hints of red. She rests her head on my forehead and I stare into her gorgeous green eyes for a moment, taking in everything the United States has to offer.
Which was this girl, her family, all the happiness she gave me, the way my heart fluttered when I was around her. I could live my life with this girl, I loved her.
"Happy 2 year anniversary Ashton Irwin. I'll love you till my last dying breath." She whispers, lips only inches from mine. She intertwines her fingers in my hair sending shivers up my spine.
"Happy 2 years Allison Harris. I'll love you until the day I love someone else. Which will be never." I stroke her cheek with my thumb, memorizing every inch of her face that I already knew so well.
"Forever and always." She whispered in my ear, giving me one more kiss.
"Ashton, you need to stop doing that mate."
My head jerks up to see Calum closing my bedroom door behind him. I feel something trickling down my cheek, and theres no doubt I've been crying.
I quickly wipe my eyes and get up from the spot I was sitting, checking my phone, hoping to see at least one message from somebody, anybody.
